My 2024 Lariat, I took delivery off on January 31, 2024 ran and shifted properly until mid November 2024. The truck currently has over 8,000 miles. Out of nowhere, and just like you describe, when I drive between 30 - 45 mph the transmission shifts into an excessively high gear causing a very annoying deep drown sound when the road starts going slightly up hill! This can only be corrected by flooring the gas pedal. I took my truck to the dealer I purchased the truck from, and dropped it off to take it for a test drive. The message I received once they were done: "there is nothing wrong with your truck. We did a diagnostics and nothing unusual showed up"! Rest assured they never took the truck for an actual test drive. I then decided to make another appointment and insisted that I test drive the truck with the transmission specialist in the truck. Before I even started the engine, and after once again describing the issue, the transmission specialist immediately confirmed that the described characteristics is normal. The onboard computer over time learns the driving habit of a driver and that there is nothing which could be done. I then called Ford Customer Relations, and that was a total waste of time. I was told that I could not be connected to a transmission specialist and the only option left was to take the Truck to another Dealer. I did and this dealer fixed the issue! They reset the onboard computer for the transmission to factory setting!!! I was then informed to get in touch with them after driving for approx. 500 miles. The name of that Dealer is Bill Tally Ford in Mechanicsville, VA! As I left the dealer I right away noticed the difference. No I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Classic example of being stonewalled. They like to use that No Problem Found phrase.

Ditto to this, always short on front ,and long on rear. Someday I will get it right or always back in.
Guys, you're not alone on this. Many times when I get out, I'm jumping back in to pull up a bit. I guess it has to do with judging where the front end is. I'm getting a little better at it however.

If you wanted the Lariat package, you had to order it. It doesn't just happen.
You mean that if you order a Lariat, you have to order a Lariat package also ?

When I drive my truck to the bagel shop, get coffee, and the cream container is empty.
Oh, come on. That one's easy!

"Bagel shop" means "cream cheese pusher." It is well known that the only purpose of a ball is to hold your cream cheese together.

No cream, then just dissolve some the abundant supply of cream cheese in.

Personally, I take my coffee as black as Putin's heart, but . . .

Do you know about the two button reset procedure? Hold the Power button (center of volume) and the FFWD/Next Track button for about 5-10 seconds and the system does a reboot. That fixes the freezing unresponsive system every time. If you are lucky, you only have to do that once a week or so. Hopefully you don't need to do that in the middle of using Maps to navigate.
Or if it's like mine, it will happily reset itself randomly at the most inopportune times. Like while using maps on Android Auto while navigating on a road trip. It's super helpful :curse:

After only 500 miles, I don't care for the seat belt indicator nor the forgetting of settings when the ignition is cycled. Hopefully, there will be some remedies in Forscan or FRDS.

My pet peeve is people expecting 70k trucks at 30k prices.

For me, it is that the Lariat Luxury package upgrade is incomplete. It is missing the auto dim rear view mirror, homelink, glove box light, underdoor illumination, cup holder illumination and tailgate lower assist. The Bronco has it, why does the Maverick NOT have it?

I miss the auto-dimming SIDE mirrors I had on my Fusion, at least with the center rearview mirror it has a toggle, and the rear window is tinted more than the side window. Adding the auto-dimming center rear view is already a fairly easy and lost cost upgrade.
