I've posted most of these in other threads. But the 5 ton package AC probably got the most looks. Every time I stopped with the travel trailer people asked how far I was going, over 1k at 65 mph 0 issues. The full story is linked in my signature. I forgot about the Accord on the dolly. It was...
The dealer replaced both of my front axels on 22 with 55k, 2" RC strut lift, and 265/65s. At 57k... I think some people worry too much about the details, or work with a horrible dealer.
You cannot fit 16" wheels on a Maverick. The rear brakes don't allow it. I wish it did. That would have been my first mod. For off-road look/use it would be great. However, most people who are adding mods are looking for performance or performance looks. The 20 does that for sure
I towed all of these over the travel trailer and boat over 1100 miles. At 65 the travel trailer with the OE tires, 3870 pounds on a CAT scale. The boat after adding a lift with 265/65s. I averaged 15 mpg with the travel trailer using cruise and 17 mpg with the boat not using cruise. With the...
However, due to the weight you will see significant lose in mileage. But, if you are not concerned about that go with it. After I lifted mine I made decisions based on the weight of the tire. Unsprung weight hurts efficiency, we all make comprises.
I have the 2.0, it's not "perfect" but a little oil on the top isn't going to hurt anything. I thought about using aluminum foil or a thin piece of sheet metal, but brake clean works too.
Love Houston traffic, right? Let me know where I will be able to follow the Civic build. I LOVE some old Hondas. I had a decent EG back in the day, I really like the EFs too.
Most of the time. I tried sport mode on the highway for 1 tank. But I thought it felt better in tow/haul mode, and I didn't notice any difference in has milage.
Depending on the terrain you could easily see 15 MPGs. I averaged 15 pulling a 3850# travel trailer for about 1100 miles. I have a link in my signature. Also. I, love that little vintage unit. I bet it is super clean inside as well.

Given the price for a much nicer looking set of Bronco headlights, I would guess they will be a little less the $600 per side. If I had to guess I would say $850-$1k per set.
Raised white letters were a requirement after the lift. It is also good that I was I was able to find some that weighed 40#. The downside is I now have 45k and need the passenger axel. I am going to ask if a dealer will cover it under warranty, but I'm not too optimistic on that. I did find I...
I towed a 3780# travel trailer 1100 miles (from southwestern NC to Houston, TX) with mine in stock form at 65 mph averaging 15mpgs. Then after a lift and 265/65/17s I towed a boat a little farther, I didn't weigh it, but I think it is a coincidence your axle failed at this point.
