I assisted with the prototype, I first tried one from tbe BS. It was too short, and the doors weren't in the right places. I made this attempt in my garage with ramps. Doing that and having a production one now. It can be done pretty easily with a set if ramps. If you change your own oil, you...
The AWD engages quite a bit when pulling the boat & trailer up the ramp. Also, some on the highway going up steep grades, in the rain or other times traction is limited. I was hoping to get on a few trails on my last trip, but it rained every day. So hopefully I will give it a workout soon. For...
I had the prototype on my truck for about 8k miles, including towing a 17' bow rider boat for about 1500 miles, and I put about 5k on with the final product. I have the 4k option on my truck. I haven't had any issues with anything getting noticeably hot or warm. The factory plate has the scoop...
That is one of the reasons I avoided strut spacers. I have known a few people that have installed them on FWD cars, and most of them like them and have some kind issues. I like my rough country strut lift. Except for the suspension sitting at nearly full droop. But the next step will be subframe...
I used the torque specs here when I installed my lift. I have had no issues, even with the retorqe after 500 miles (+/-). Nearing 10k after the lift now still no problem. I can't think of a reason the front wheel and all wheel would have different specs. They all have the same mounting points...
I was reading somewhere here, that the trucks that came with the inverter came with a higher output alternator. Something like 200 amp vs 160 amp. I did see Sonic or D4S sells a 300 (or so) amp alternator for the 2022 Escape. That may fit, but I am more leaning towards it will almost work.
I think so. There is a little rubbing but nothing serious. There was basically 0 initially, but I think now after 10k miles everything has settled out there is some. I may at some point message the pinch welds but so far it isn't enough to worry about.
This is AWESOME!!! I was considering how to go about something like this, and thos is much simpler than my see if a Mustang front subframe would mount in. Those A-arms will be a real trick these do pretty well off road but the articulation leaves a bit to be desired. I have the Rough County 2"...
I would like to hear a sound clip as well. Also, on your site it shows different tip options, when do you think you will have a picture of the different options? I know you have a lot on your plate, and I'm sure it's not tomorrow but I'm also not looking to buy tomorrow. If you have an estimate...
Currently I am scheduled to be on call that weekend, but that schedule will change. I will do all I can to get there. I don't think I've gotten to a meet since I lifted mine. Looking forward to getting together again 👍
Sadly I fall into the first group... My warranty is past now, I'm sitting at 37,6?? I really want to do the full turbo back and intake. I will have to get with one of the local dyno-shops to see what a few pulls would cost.
I've looked through those threads, and I honestly can't find a single useful thing to do with it. I don't need my phone in view since everything I need to see comes up on the display through AA. I could put a random figure or something. I think I'm going to try to install a display from a Crosair.
I prefer to open up the intake and exhaust at the same time to maximize the effectiveness of both. Bit it looks like you are far from done. I remember in fastmavericks first truck he had noticeable gains with the cat-back, and substantial gains with the 1.0 version downpipe. I look forward to...
The screen seems good enough. As most people here, I would prefer the useless cubby to go away to make room for a bigger screen. But as is is fine, I don't think there are any visibility issues with it.
This is very respectable. The 1 thing I would like to see is the whp/wtq with the full exhaust. Personally I like to do the intake and exhaust at the same time.
The side walls might have had a few belt grooves but not much worse than normal. Also, you might want to consider a 255/65. A little bigger but you should be able to save some weight over the 245/75s
YES, get an alignment ASAP. I drove mine 1 fay before getting the alignment done, just to see how it acted. It was super loose, almost like I was driving on ice. I was also still on the mostly worn out factory tires.
