All civilian models from Base to Sport have a feature called Illuminated Entry/Exit, where the cabin, parking, and puddle lights turn on whenever you enter/exit the vehicle. As a standard, Police Interceptors have this feature disabled by using a feature called "Dark Car," which disables the Illuminated Entry/Exit feature--police officers do not want to draw attention to themselves whenever the lights turn on as they enter/exit the vehicle.
Thanks

Basically change the digit listed in red, then write the changes. I would enable police dark mode if I was you. you can lower the 12v timeout as well, maybe there is a way to lower the timeout for courtesy lights on exit as well.. If police dark mode doesn't work for you, or you don't like that, I can figure out how to specifically disable welcome and exiting courtesy lights if you want.
Double lock on fob, handle ridges, or keypad turns off courtesy lights, 12v timeout and turns off fob is approaching clicking about one second after the double lock is done. The horn toots once if lock is successful and hood is latched 100%, toots twice if any door or hood is not completely shut. This on both my lariat loaded and my XLT with luxury pkg. NO forscan changes of any kind.

Are you using your low beam as the DRL? I'm assuming you made the same change on the right side low beam? I'm using my front turn signals as DRL.

I don't have that option shown in forscan for turn signals as drl

I have a US XLT Ecoboost and followed snowcatxx87's changes with the exception of Left/Right Turn Signal Usage. I have Switchback front turn signals and left the both as Turn Only. I wanted the low beams OFF with the white of the Switchbacks being my DRL's. This is exactly what I got with the changes.

I know that the lights don't look bright enough but I think this was just because my camera was looking up. I did drive to a storefront glass and the lights are plenty bright enough.

Things I noted in my process.

All my DRL's by Autolamps were already enabled, but my DRL include Parking Lamps was disabled. Another one was Using Low Beam with DRL. Both of these were not addressed in the original post. I know that I enabled the first and disabled the second during my attempt to get this working.

I also had the RIght/Left Front High Beam Usage set to "not used" (left) and "power supply" (right). I was a little concerned with changing these since are set as they are and didn't appear relate to the low beams. I went back and changed both back to their original settings and tried the other options. All selections except "High Beam" for both made my low beams flicker instead of going OFF. Since one of the settings that didn't work for the was "Auto High Beam", I hope it doesn't interfere with the Auto High Beam feature..
I'm wanting to install switchbacks on my Maverick. I've already made the changes in Forscan so just the DRLs are on. How did you enable just the white DRLs without having the running lights on all the time? Doesn't the white part of the switchback bulb use the running light circuit?

Yes it appears to be part of the running light circuit. FORD did not separtate the front parking lamps when enabling the "DRL includes parking lamps" setting. The front marker, licence plate and rear tail lights are all ON with this setting.

Drl park lamps and lightbar working, however lights seem to come back on after opening doors. Can this be fixed with police dark mode or something else?

Thanks @snowcatxx87 for working all this out.

Got it going on my XL with switchbacks (yellow turn light is on, wish the parking white light was a separate circuit). One other thing I disabled was lamp burnout notification since the switchbacks are Diode Dynamics LEDs without the resistors. Only thing I can’t get rid of are two codes in BCM, B14E5 and B14E7. These codes are for left/right front enhanced exterior lighting system. Read on the Bronco forum that this happens when headlights are swapped and need to be reprogrammed with a Ford diagnostics tool. Probably because of all the changes, something no longer matches. No check engine light just a code visible via FORScan. No big deal, just annoying.

I run my LasFit switchback LEDs as DRL/turn signals and love them! One issue, though: I'm getting alot of oncoming vehicles flashing their brights at me b/c they think I'm running with the brights on, so I think I'm going to have to run the LasFits in yellow instead of white. I have a LEER cap on the bed and I think it's put the Maverick's 'nose' up just enough higher to trigger folks into thinking I'm a jerk who runs with their brights on. Too bad, as I do like the look of the white.
Curious if anyone else gets 'flashed' when running their turn signals as DRLs...

There are two series: T- and T-3. I have the T- which are brighter but were discontinued. I'm a big fan of them during the day since you can definitely see them. At night, they are noticeable but not blinding either.

Mine are the T-also. I think it's a knee-jerk reaction when others see three white lights on coming (the two low beams and the Lasfit). The Lasfit are not high-beam bright.
I flick my high-beams when I am flicked at to prove they're not on, for whatever good it does.
