I did, too but at night I'm getting 'flashed' by oncoming traffic b/c of the combination of white Lasfits and low beams...This is what I'm saying.
DRL lights are designed to dim when you turn on your headlights. If they are too bright they are blinding oncoming traffic because the light is not focused. Turn them on and stand in front of your vehicle from about 50ft and you will see why they are complaining.
I did, and don't see any 'blinding' effect. It's simply a perception issue: they see three white lights oncoming and assume they're brights.

What do you mean it killed your DRLsThe method in this thread killed my DRL. There is an option for high beam and DRL, so I am going to give that a shot.
It also did not have the desired effect for me. When the DRL's are on for park/DRL, it turns on the orange lights of my switchbacks. I want it to turn on the white lights and use the orange for blinker only. I am not sure that will be an option though...
It turned off the DRL lights.

Thanks for doing all the work and figuring it out. I had used your configuration last year when I bought my 2024 XLT but when I recently brought it in for an update the BCM went back to stock. I easily figure out the hyperflash but could figure out my DRL ON with front turn signals without the low beams on. The only thing I changed was not having my marker light on during the day.Quick aside: There is a lot of confusion on what a DRL is. A DRL is "daytime running light." It doesn't have to be its own light (think lariat), a DRL can be a signal, a low beam, a high beam at 50% (like some vehicles, but I hate that - so blinding haha). In Canada, we do not have the DRL menu in the dash, and our DRLS happen to be the lowbeam and signal lamps at 50%. Forscan/Ford refers to DRL both ways, an actual light, and something being used as a DRL. We don’t have lariats, so no need to change anything actual light related.
Outcome: Turn signals to be at 100% brightness for DRL.
My Vehicle: 22 XLT Hybrid Mav, Canadian Spec, latest software from dealer as of Feb 2024 as it has so many darn recalls, I feel like a letter comes a month.
I made a new thread because the old thread is 2 years old and it is derailed by arguing about LED lifespan and warranty. Thanks to everyone in that thread that contributed, I went through everyone's posts over the past year and decided tonight I was finally going to crack it. I spent hours going back and forth on settings.
If you want to do this in your garage, the ambient light sensor is the black nub on your dashboard. I used a flashlight to force it into day mode, and then covered with my hands for 10-20 seconds (depends on what you have your mav set to) to make it go to night mode. You can test your results without having to go in and out of your garage or test at nightime etc.

I had a lot of weird anomolies with my truck, causing it do weird things, so go through every setting carefully. What I found to cause mine not to work was the high beam said not used for one side, and "power supply" for the right side? This was really weird. I also had all my "DRL by autolamps" disabled as well.
Below are my settings to get this to finally work, and I checked after a bunch of cycles:
To get signals to be 100% brightness you have to change Left Front Turn Lamp Usage and Right Front Turn Lamp Usage. - Turn and DRL
LEFT
RIGHT
LOW
DRL

I would recommend turning the DRL menu on, the DRL option has be selected for the lights to be enabled. I stopped tracking for a while due to other projects taking priority, I believe we're still working on a process to keep the DRLs without also illuminating the brake lights.
I will try to tinker with it this weekend. I don’t mind having NO lights, but figure having some up front will keep the coppers from bothering me and maybe let people see me when I’m oncoming.
with blacked out windows, I try to only break one law at a time. 
Especially with the (discontinued) LEDs, they are VERY bright and noticeable during the day. I haven't had an issue so far with temperature and still waiting to see what happens to lifespan, but I really enjoy having them.I will try to tinker with it this weekend.
