I read your question as you want your turn signals to be the DRL's and you do not have the side badge lights. My circuit does not do that. The turn signals as DRL's is done with ForScan. If you know ForScan, click the link at the top of my post to snowcatxx87's post on how to do that.

Yes it appears to be part of the running light circuit. FORD did not separtate the front parking lamps when enabling the "DRL includes parking lamps" setting. The front marker, licence plate and rear tail lights are all ON with this setting.
