Just a quick update on the GTR bulb that I used for the brake light. Had to replace it twice already. Although I got the replacements under warranty, it is not worth the hassle to me. Installed the factory incandescent bulb back in.
Thank you Vtec87pr1 and everyone else who contributed to this thread. Took me two days to get everything done, but I now have a nice factory looking install.
Possibly someone mentioned before, but the bumper where it meets the fender at the top near the headlight, is not as easy to pop out as...
On Eibach springs as well. If you go that route, I’d suggest not to cut the front bump stops like the instructions suggest. After hitting a pothole, the spring seems to compress all the way and there is a very hard thunk. Thinking if I did not cut mine, they would help. I also changed the end...
Got this from Linear Logic. Looks to show the correct value now, around 220, depending on charge, etc.

I know, this is a super old thread, but has anyone successfully gotten the correct values for battery voltage? Mine is also a number around 6,000.
I’ll contact Linear Logic as well, possibly they have some new values to try out.
Attached to the bolts in the pictures, but then promptly took it out. It added extra creases and now I had two bolt heads staring out at me.
I think they didn’t attach it at the factory to save time. And I’d rather not see the two bolt heads.
Yeah, I thought so too at first, but the number they were giving to call back checked out as an actual Ford customer service number and the email as I mentioned, is ford.com domain.
I did email them and got a cryptic reply that the engineering team wanted to ask questions regarding some issue I was having. Not sure what issue I am having, but sure, I replied back again with a time when I would be available. Never heard back from them again.
Got called two times today by two different representatives stating they were from Ford customer service. Both left messages with one giving a direct extension and another an email address with @ford.com domain. Phone numbers seem to check out and one rep even mentioned MTC, saying they want to...
There are no wires for the heated mirrors, you’d have to find the right location to connect them to and route them through the door, all the way up to the mirror.
Yes, took pictures of the version number before and after update. Driving with it for a bit now and it’s not bad. Just a very slightly noticeable delay from time to time, with no big screen freezes (but I didn’t experience those even before the update).
Will be amber/yellow with the switchbacks since the turn signal input is on. This is how it is on mine and I actually prefer that vs white. They turn white when the parking lights are on (you can make parking lights your DRLs, but then all the parking lights, including rear, will be on all the...
Had a similar thing happen on mine once, when coming to a stop. Like going over rumble strips. Everything has been fine since. Seems to have been exactly that, transition from engine to electric, or the other way. Bad CV axles I would think would cause it to happen much more often and would be...
Probably there is a difference in the wires between 24 and 25. I still don’t get it why they need to tap into the headlight instead of just using the parking lights.
The recall was announced back in November of last year. The fix was announced this Monday. Agree with TwuckHappens, you probably received a recall letter making you aware of such potential issues. Sorry about your accident.
