I was referring to your tank range. It's showing that you've gone 70 miles and that you have 322 mi left before empty. In my screenshot you can see that I did 300 mi and I have 93 mi to empty. So both of our computers are showing almost the exact same tank range.... 392 mi versus 393 mi. However your truck is showing that you were getting 38.8 miles per gallon My truck was showing that I was getting 25.1 miles per gallon.

Something is odd.
Surely the tank range is calculated as an average?

I’ve had my XL 2.0 AWD for a week now. I’ve driven about 300 miles. Averages around 16 mpg. The best I’ve gotten was just over 17 on a highway run. Right now the average is reading at just over 14. Worse mileage than the V6 F150 it replaced! Combine that with a 13 gallon tank and it sure isn’t suitable for any kind of road trip. I am so far very disappointed. The dealer I purchased it from says to put some more miles on it and maybe it will improve. I can’t imagine more miles will make any significant change. On Monday I’m taking it in (different dealer) to have them check it out. 14-17 is pretty abysmal for a truck this size.
I have 1900 miles on my XLT 2.0 AWD FX4 and 4K Tow and I am getting avg combined 27 Real MPG. Have hit 32 MPG on a highway ride.

Update- drove 1980 miles back and forth to Florida. Starting miles on Maverick was about 1400 miles.
Trip down, averaged 26.5 mpg, driving all interstate at about 77 mph; second tank of BP Ultimate premium made no difference.
Trip back, with 1265 miles on the vehicle, averaged 29.1 mpg, averaging about 72-75 mph most of the way, all 87 octane gas. Tried different speeds, and dropping speed to the mid 60's (when speed limit was 70 mph did not seem to make much of a difference. I left the different speed settings on for a while to account for inclines and declines.
The Lie-O-Meter on the dash is consistently 0.5 to 1.2 mpg over the hand calculation.
Overall, happy now with the mileage, taking into account the break in and the NC/Ga/FL non-winter gas.

Did you get a spay-in bed liner with some complimentary holes in your gas tank? Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

I would expect the future calculation of remaining range to be an estimate of some period up to that point. Either since the last fill-up, or over the last X number of miles (50, 100 maybe?). It has to incorporate the recent MPG otherwise it would be a random estimate based on a predetermined number and never change. Otherwise, for my current tank saying 185miles to go because it has been freezing and I'm at 23mpg on the gauge would be the same regardless of driving history. But I know when I was getting 28mpg+ in warmer weather that it would have shown 225-250mpg remaining at the same point.

Had it for around 3 weeks and averaging only 18.5 MPG so far. To be fair, I’ve only driven it short distances <10 miles round trip and have been warming up the truck during the cold Michigan winter. Hoping/expecting better once I drive more highway miles. The hybrid would have been a better choice however I will not regret it during those handful of nasty winter storms.

I'm sitting around Mid 25's via the computer, so subtract about 1 MPG for real world (based on my fill up experience). My driving is about 60/40 city/hwy. 2.0EB AWD/4K/FX4 with the stock tires and just over 2k miles. So pretty much spot on.

Question is how many of you are using your remote start you lose a lot of gas mileage if you use it often. Plus colder weather lowers gas mileage as well. My 2001 Ranger 4.0 4x4 gets around 20mpg and the wife's 2015 Taurus 3.0 gets around 22mpg. So I am hoping for around 25 when I get my Maverick.
