Well, this is weird. The App says 42 front and 41 rear. I just noticed the App suggests 35 psi front and rear. I never put air in the tires, and I have no idea why my tires are at that psi--the air in the tires is what it is/was when I picked the vehicle up in December.

A lot of times, I drive like a hypermiling grandmother. No help. Tried the regular, eco and sport settings. No help. Tried auto stop off and on. No help. Granted, on the last tank of fuel, it was mostly around town mileage with a lot of short runs of 5 miles or less- that was the all time...
  3. Real world fuel mileage MPG results by 2.0 EcoBoost owners - check in here

My MPG never improved. Last tank of gas was 20.5 MPG. I have an F150 Lightning on order, and never really liked this vehicle. Trading it in tomorrow for a vehicle for my wife. Would never buy one of these again with an Ecoboost engine.
  4. Sound deadening material applied to doors and back wall

It's a shame It's a shame that for Lariat trim level, owners have to resort to doing their own sound proofing. My Lariat was $38K, which is not that much cheaper than my prior Audi Q5, and I am shocked at the road and wind noise in the cabin of the Maverick Lariat. It was so bad that I had...
  5. Real world fuel mileage MPG results by 2.0 EcoBoost owners - check in here

My MPG still blows (Lariat, AWD, 4K Towing package). At least 60% highway (maybe 70-80%) at average 70 mph on the highway, and averaging 22-23.5 mpg for the last 7 fill ups going back to mid January.
  6. 4000+ mile cross country road trip

I live in NJ, and I drive 90% Garden State Parkway to and from work, at nearly 5,000 miles and averaging 23 mpg. On one trip to Florida when we first bought the Maverick , we got 29.3 mpg. On the Parkway and Interstate highways, mostly drive about 70 mph. Thought it was the winter gasoline...
  7. Audio Alerts on Android Will Not Play When Connected Via Bluetooth

I got one step further ahead. If I turn off BlueTooth on the stereo system in the car, my audio alerts will play. If I connect my phone via BlueTooth AND I am listening to audio from my phone (my Pixel 5 is selected as my audio source), then the alert will play over whatever audio (I-Tunes) is...
  8. Audio Alerts on Android Will Not Play When Connected Via Bluetooth

Thanks for that reply. I'm looking at the XLT specs, which state "connect your phone with standard Bluetooth or opt for SYNC3to get even more seamless voice activated controls." It says the same thing for Lariat. I'm going to go try some more things, but either I am missing something, or...
  9. Audio Alerts on Android Will Not Play When Connected Via Bluetooth

No, that does not work for me, and I don't understand what you said. I'm connected to Fordpass wirelessly and the phone connects to the Sync system via BlueTooth. I'm not naive to this stuff. The connection options seem limited or I am missing something fundamental. I appreciate your...
  10. Audio Alerts on Android Will Not Play When Connected Via Bluetooth

I searched outside of this forum and watched YouTube videos to no avail. Is there a way when an Android phone is connected to Sync 3 via Bluetooth to enable audio alerts for an App that cannot be added to the Launcher in Android Auto? I am a firefighter and EDispatches is a common app we use...
  11. Ridiculously low Gas mileage ENOUGH already WTF is going on ?

I'm in the same range in NJ, where it is mostly flat. Lariat AWD with tow package and just over 3,000 miles. Just filled up a tank with almost all around town mileage, and hand-calculated at 19.3 mpg. Not thrilled, but winter mix fuel and keep in mind the rating for AWD is 22 city, 29...
  12. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

Mileage still sucks around town. Averaging 16-17 mpg with mostly "city"/around town driving. Shorter trips, but spent Saturday driving around for about an hour with a mix of light highway (40 mph) and in town driving, still did not break 17 mpg on the meter ( reset the meter for trip 2 to see...
  13. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

Celebrated too soon. Back in NJ with the winter grade gas- 87 octane. Filled up before a trip, and non-highway mileage was 17.3 mpg on the meter, hand calculation was 15.6 mpg. Filled up for approx 310 round trip 99% highway from NJ to CT, with no traffic. Meter MPG averaged a crappy 22 mpg...

  15. Noisy car phone

Thanks. Does the cover pry out of the head liner with a screwdriver or putty knife?
  16. Noisy car phone

Did this solve the noisy microphone issue?

In my previous vehicle (Audi Q5 TDI), always seemed to do better on cruise control. The trip up and down Interstate 95 to Florida is fairly flat and free of any major hills. To your point, noticed that when re-activating cruise control, if cruise was set well above the current speed, the...
  18. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

Update- drove 1980 miles back and forth to Florida. Starting miles on Maverick was about 1400 miles. Trip down, averaged 26.5 mpg, driving all interstate at about 77 mph; second tank of BP Ultimate premium made no difference. Trip back, with 1265 miles on the vehicle, averaged 29.1 mpg...

  20. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

Posted this in the other thread. About 450 miles on the vehicle: So far, the mpg has been terribly disappointing. First trip, 350 miles round trip, mostly interstate highway averaging around 70 mph was hand calculated at 23 mpg. This could have been impacted by this was the first tank of gas...
