I am still having the same issue, NO gauges /no Lights /No Start cannot switch the transmission /cannot move vehicle. I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM SINCE I FIRST GOT THE TRUCK. ITS A HYBRID. THe truck has been to the Fajardo Ford dealership 8 times for this issue. The Ford dealership that sold me the truck for 37,300$ USD. cannot seem to fix the problem. they have had it now for over one week. I have only put on the truck in almost 2 years 13,019 miles because I cannot start it often. The car 12volt battery shows around 11 volts when this condition show It's ugly head, I am in a hurry and the truck will not drive. I told Ford in Puerto Rico that the battery 12 volt does not hold the charge. they say its tests fine., THEN WHY DOES IT NOT WORk at 11 volts. Should I contact a lawyer for the lemon law? The dilership has had my truck in for this problem forfa total of about 5 weeks inn the last year. Is any elese having bthis same issue , no srt/ no gauges noe shiting not bable to drive ????????

I feel your pain, mine’s the same.
There , as has been mentioned, a known Hybrid battery issue/sleep mode problem and a related recall now. This long term problem and associated fixes should be known by the dealerships, but this alienation between Ford corporate and dealerships is a thing. Sorry for your ongoing unresolved issues.🤓

I’d go with the upgraded battery. If that doesn’t solve the problem then it’s time for Lemon law.

You mention you have had the truck two years, so I assume the bad high voltage cable recall has been done. If not, this could cause additional 12 volt battery and no start problems.
FWIW the program you're referring to is for the low voltage battery cable, not HV. And it's a CSP (Customer Satisfaction Program), not a recall, so unlikely to have been performed pre-emptively.

I hate to be nit picky but I had such a hard time reading this because of all of the typos and run-ons. If you're going to post something for the general public to read, please know what you're typing. I can't emphasize this enough. I understand that you're coming from a source outside of the U.S. and may not translate well but it doesn't take long to just proofread what you're typing before submitting. I know I sound like the grammar police and will probably get ridiculed for it but it drives me nuts how illiterate our society is becoming.
This poor guy is from Puerto Rico and English is not his first language. When you speak Spanish as well as he speaks English then you might have the right to your inconsequential and poorly thought out criticism.

There is an open recall for instrument clusters not working properly. Ford released a software update for the cluster that you can have done (If you have one of the impacted vehicles) at your dealership. Although, it is when in operation that the cluster can have an issue.

THEN WHY DOES IT NOT WORk at 11 volts.
Because, 11v on a 12v battery is absolutely dead. Not a little dead. Completely and totally dead. It would require a really solid drain to do that to a battery.

At 12.0v on a "12v" battery you are at about 40% of the battery capacity. You are at full capacity sitting around 12.75v. A battery sitting at 11v has about 2.5% capacity.

FWIW the program you're referring to is for the low voltage battery cable, not HV. And it's a CSP (Customer Satisfaction Program), not a recall, so unlikely to have been performed pre-emptively.
I forgot about this as it was done some time ago.

Ughhh didn't I see somewhere that Ford said that this was an ENHANCED FLOODED battery. So maybe it's not dead until 10.6 volts????

Have you tried another dealer if one is reasonably close? Also I believe there is a recall or TSB on the connection from the 12v battery to the positive jump start post in the engine compartment!

First; avoid a lawyer. They will likely cost YOU money. Deal with the service manager. If he can't help enough, contact Ford customer care. I did that and they immediately assigned someone to me to work on my case and contact the dealer on my behalf along with get records of every time I've been there. In my case they determined I have a lemon based on my States lemon law. They'd offered me a chance to get refunded pretty much everything I've ever paid for my vehicle but I could not afford to get a newer Maverick. So they offered me $3,000 to keep it if I wanted. I upped it to $4,000 and put the money in the bank as over time all of my problems have disappeared. So contact customer care and be prepared to tell him all the dates and problems you've had and go from there.

Lemon law for sure... I don't know if you need a lawyer. Maybe contact ford. Good luck! I hate it for you.
