LaneKeep and TSR causing inverter issue? DTC B1330:9A

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...sr-causing-inverter-issue-dtc-b1330-9a.31037/

Can anyone speak to this? I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it was resolved.

I had the TSR installed and noticed the other day my inverter wasn’t working. Came across this thread trying to resolve.

I returned everything back to the way it was but inverter still not working. Looking for a resolution

I resolved it on my truck and detailed it here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ll-trims-without-copilot-360.9291/post-591348

Good luck!

Marp,

Thanks for your help. I’ll have a look and see if it works. Mine is a hybrid so hopefully it’s similar.
Damn. That didn’t work for me. Original value still in place.

Must be something else

I am also facing this issue. I began reverting my setup back to stock but no luck yet. I had extra drive modes, disable double honk, and TSR enabled. I also have been under the center console and moved the bed outlet inside the cubby. But still the same DTC B1330:9A. The inverter does power up when the engine starts but turns off within 5s

After reading your reply, I noticed the same. After starting the ignition the yellow light to the plug comes on then turns off immediately. So getting power momentarily I’m assuming

Just checked using a lamp. The inside outlet lights the lamp for a second when the yellow light lights up then shuts off immediately.

Nothing gets to the truck bed with the same test.

I believe as mentioned by ppagan2012 in the link above, the inside inverter has a fault preventing it from working as well as supplying the bed.

I’ll have the dealership add it to the list with the heat exchanger they ordered on March 20, 2023

I’m told the heat exchanger will likely be in stock by October

@Ponchsox It took me a couple of tries to get it to show in my xlt. I used the below and it works now.
IPC Module

Chimes - Traffic Sign Recognition Overspeed: Disabled -> Enabled
Menu - Traffic Sign Recognition Activation: Disabled -> Enabled
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR): Disabled -> Enabled

IPMA Module

Traffic Sign Recognition Mode: Disabled -> Camera data only
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR): Disabled -> SLIF

This should then allow you the screen in the menu to activate it.

Hi!, Do you have 4" cluster or 6"?

Did you test the front collision warning?, still working? in my truck does not work at all with TSRO activated.

Bye

After reading this long thread, don't see if anyone has successfully added TSR to a '23 Lariat Lux, with CP360 & Assist. The directionals all appear to be for XL/XLT, and when equipped with CP360, appears to cause an inverter error, if also enabling lane keeping with CP360. - Does having all of those options from the factory negate the issue, or is it there as well?

What about if you have the factory navigation, which is now included with on the Lariat w/Lux for '23? - I get some speed limit signs on the map page, however, they're from the maps, and only on certain roads. (Even when I haven't passed a speed sign). Will it work on a Lariat Lux w/Navigation?

Have the Vgate cable, and can easily install Forscan on my old Surface Pro w/Type-Keyboard, but don't want to brick something trying. Also plan to enable the Global Up/Down Windows from the remote at the same time.

Thanks All

I mentioned this just a couple of pages ago. because i didn't find the info for a 23 lariat ( co Pilot assist) with Nav.
i went ahead and tried it out anyway and it worked. here is my write-up from that.

I followed the instructions in the post, with slight modifications. since the GPS is installed. I Bolded the things I did differently. I will also note that I got the square signs to display on the 6in screen.

Once in Forscan:
1. IPMA (Simple Mode): Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR): from Disabled to SLIF
2. Still in IPMA Simple: Traffic Sign Recognition Mode: from Disabled to Camera data only Camera and Navigation
*then Write / save before leaving this section

3. IPC section (non-simple mode):
720-03-02 -- XX4x xxxx xx - Did not have to change this, was already 4
720-09-01 -- xxxx-xxxx-8xxx - changed from a 1 to 8
*then Write / save before leaving this section

I also looked around in the IPC and anything that had to do with Traffic Sign Recognition I changed to Enabled.
I also changed a few other things Enabled Wrong Way Detection, Turn by Turn nav display ( on the dash screen), global windows open and close, and enabled Walk Away Locking. the walk-away locking did not work, but the rest worked and got the display to work. I will try to retrace my steps this weekend and take screenshots. but to be honest, I am not sure if one thing or a combination of things is what got it to work.

It's pretty hard to brick stuff, as long as you don't mess with as built settings you don't know you should be fine.

The ideal thing to do is to make a full backup of the default settings of your truck for all modules, it is easy to do from forscan and it is easy to flash everything back to stock if something seems wonky afterwards. There's also a Ford website that gives you your as built codes from your bin, so even if you don't make a backup you're still covered.

For your truck with navigation, as far as I know and remember none of the TSR settings require changing values in the infotainment unit, forgive me as I forgot the specific module name lol, so here shouldn't be any interference there, but only testing will tell.

I may revisit this just for the sake of adding it, but I can't say that I've ever actually wanted/needed it. My Escape did have it and it was something I overlooked when getting the Maverick. I expected the same setup with Navigation in the Lariat Lux.

I see it being beneficial especially in a place you may not be familiar with. I also feel like it should be in Android auto anytime you have the map open - which is always. It wouldn't take up more than a corner of the map.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time and effort to post in such great detail OP!

I was playing around with this trying to get intelligent adaptive cruise control to work, and ran into the same issues everyone else was having. However, when I reverted back, I’m still getting the error when I activate ACC that traffic sign recognition for IACC is not working. I forgot to save the forscan module builds before I made the changes. Can anyone help me identify what I need to change back to get the warning to stop alarming everyone I try to activate acc?
