Damn, what an awful sitiation. Shame on that dealership, maybe another one would hace been willing to do right by you. Mine decided to replace my flooded cell factory battery for a new AGM for free.
I have several quite steep inclines in my regular routes, so I often use L.
My truck has no ACC.
In Drive the transmission will use some engine braking but will slowly gain speed, in L it will maintain your speed when going downhill, if you want to go faster or slower just tap the gas or brake...
Does anybody know if the production dates of affected Mavericks overlap with the dates in which ecoboosts where shipping with a flooded-cell battery? Might explain why my truck would not even throw any kind of error even when it would fail to crank from the demise of its defective battery only...
That's for the delay to turn them off after you lock the truck, not for when you get into a long tunnel and have to wait 15 seconds for the lights to come on.
Ohhh, so that actually works?
Sorry, I'm not sure if I understand the instructions for 726-14-01, so in the 2 asterisks positions I need to input the milliseconds converted to hex?
The dealership replaced the factory stock flooded-cell battery, which apparently was defective, with an AGM battery under warranty. It is my understanding that ecoboosts delivered from mid 2022 onwards have the AGM batt from the factory.
Last year, when it happenned first, they just did some sort of alignment and now the wipers bind and skip much less often and more gently, but it isn't completely gone. Several other members actually got their wiper motor replaced. I might eventually ask for that to be done to mine as well.
Then indeed, a cover like the one I have will be perfect. That was my main concern when purchasing a cover as well.
Look at this installation video at 3:38 those two bolts are all you need to remove the cover form the rails.
I know most trifolds, like the ones I have from Rough Country, are quick and easy to remove. You do have to install rails on the sides of the bed, but the cover attaches to the rails at the bulkhead side with two bolts designed to be tightened or undone by hand.
In my opinion, after doing A/B testing of the normal and flat EQ, on the flat EQ I did notice significantly lower bass from my subwoofer, as if the default eq had a bass boost applied, though I run my bass level on the headunit at 0 and turned up the gain on the sub so as to limit the bass at...
I made this thread earlier this year for a similar phantom battery drain problem where my truck would not start even if jumped, but if left unplugged overnigth would fire right up two or three times before dying again.. My dealership didn't test modules, but my mav was year 1 production and came...
Fornthe requency respons
I don't want to sound like I'm stating the obvious and which you probably already did, especially since you know a heck of a lot more than I do lol, but did you try inverting the phase of your sub? Just saying because I have a Rockford Fosgate P300-8P under the rear...
Every 3 months or so, after parking, switching the engine off and having the parking brake applied, my truck will blast the horn twice upon opening the drivers door for no apparent reason, and then I won't be able to replicate it again. When it happens it makes me worried some random bloke near...
A month ago I had the random chimes and lights on with no amber indicator on the lamp switch, it happened 3 time in a single week and then hasn't happenned since. Each time I noticed, the light switch would go back to working properly after moving it 2 clicks in either direction.
I used self-sticking weather-sealing foam I got at home depot, probably was even this particular product.
Making an airtight seal between the door and the adapter, and between the speaker and the adapter, will likely help, though as I mentioned you'll probably need to tame the base coming from...
Did you add any foam all around under the speaker bezel where it contacts the door or mounting adapter? If you used an adapter, did you add foam under that, too?
I found that aftermarket speakers, with their enhanced bass, do rattle the doors. Since I had installed a subwoofer as well and...
