I'm seriously considering getting a Ranger, and I'm curious whether @Granger Ford Ford or Long MacArthur @fordvideoguy plan to offer forum member deals on the new Ranger?

Even if the price were the same as locally, I would still prefer to deal with these quality people.
Plus, road trips are fun.

Higher cost ($27K to $40k), low MPG (20), poor reviews (but seem to be getting better), good towing, almost too big for my garage. Not for me; but go for it, if it floats your boat. LOL

I would be highly surprised if Ford launches a PHEV/hybrid at launch. There's really no reason to at the moment:

1. No other midsize truck offers either. My guess is the Tacoma will be the first.
2. They can introduce those options in a few years when they get squeezed on fuel economy standards...and also to juice sales again.

I would take a XL stripper superduty over a loaded ranger any day. The ranger is over priced and will be eliminated by ford again for the same reason it failed the first time. $$$

Not true. There is a definite need for midsize trucks, now that they're the size that full size trucks used to be.

Good looking truck. Don't know how it will stack up quality wise with the next gen Tacoma or the current Frontier at the same price point. Ford's initial quality is the worst in the business right now and it's not really close.
