    I feel better now. Im complaining about mine dropping to 29 in this cold with 10 minute warm ups before driving. Mine will stay on fast idle for 10 minutes with you only going short distances it never reaches normal operating temp.

    Good news is removing the bed cubby cover allows great access for undercoating. The metal on these are so thin it wont take long to rust thru.

    Your expectations are far to high. The Maverick is just another disposable Ford vehicle. Everywhere you look is cheap cost saving build quality. If it sees 100k miles you will be a lucky one. Ford stopped building quality vehicles 30 years ago. Today its all about profit

    Mines off. Took a few times because I was doing the buckle/unbuckle to fast. Use the icon in the cluster for that part.

    They have been using these junk links on the disposable vehicles for years. Not enough grease in them and when the grease pushes away from the joint its metal to metal.

    Dealer got mine in today same issue. Purge valve on charcoal can. Part on back order. No mention of undercoating as its impossible for anything to get in or out of the EVAP system.

    Thats a hose with purge pump attached. I have the same problem. Blamed mine on undercoating but after a closer look thats just not possible. Looking at another post it appears the real problem is the fuel tank pressure switch thats mounted inline behind the charcoal can.
