yeah I figured as much. Didn’t mean that to come off as negative if it did.
ford really botched the 6g launch. Horrible price increase, hardly any options or colors, removed the 2door, and so much more.
Enjoy the 5g!
It’s a very common ford tactic. Simple logic proves there is nothing preventing ford from building the trims that are ordered vs deciding themselves.
what is the constraint difference between an xl hybrid and lariat hybrid? Nothing at all.
just like the f-150 lighting pro, the xl exists in...
yup. Which is exactly why many decided to buy a different vehicle which some here think is blasphemy.
no, I won’t pay 7% on an unproven budget vehicle. I’ll take 3% and lower from other companies all day though :)
1. No, not really. 7% is the lowest ford rate i believe on the maverick
2. I believe you can use PassPoints as payment, but dont quote that.
3. No
4. I would suggest going to a LineX company, not the dealer
5. Not entirely sure there. Many seem to leak a bit
Not to be mean but that isn’t true in the slightest lol. I can’t stand how this forum is made up of know it alls across all brands.
on one hand, there is “no way” I got a deal on an impossible to get truck within weeks. On the other hand, “you only got a deal because the new one is coming” when...
Ummm no it’s not done differently here? I’m really not sure why you’re making all of these assumptions. That same process still happens but mine was already in transit.
I simply used Toyotas inventory site which lists which vehicles are in transit, which are on lot, and which are pending sale...
yes, that is what I said. Very weird times when people refuse to believe dealers sell at msrp. maybe not at your dealership, but that is the entire point of my response in this post. And that was for the rav. Remember my Tacoma was 3k under
If people are willing to travel and do some leg work...
I still don’t follow?
the Toyota dealership was happy not to sell a car to my mother to only sell it to someone else at the same price?
it wasn’t her order. Toyota doesn’t do orders. This dealership sells at msrp for all.
I highly doubt they are hyped to lose a sale to only make that same...
right which is exactly what I was saying.
if you select a dealership and for some reason HAVE to buy at that dealership, you could be waiting a long time.
if you simply use the Toyota/ford/etc inventory search and call many, you will find one much quicker than waiting at a single dealership.
huh?
it was almost 8k more msrp and she didn’t want that. Plus she wanted a bed.
what does one Toyota dealership have to do with the other ford dealership? I don’t follow
I think it depends on how people go about it. If you HAVE to go to one dealer for whatever reason and wait for an allocation (Toyota) or for your custom build to get scheduled and built (Ford), it will probably take a long time.
If people are willing to travel and/or able to open up their...
