I know there is a new forum for the 6G Ranger here >> https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/

Hope it is cool to post here in the maverick forum though.

I'm seriously considering getting a Ranger, and I'm curious whether @Granger Ford Ford or Long MacArthur @fordvideoguy plan to offer forum member deals on the new Ranger?

Even if the price were the same as locally, I would still prefer to deal with these quality people.
Plus, road trips are fun.

The new Ranger is a good looking truck. Looks like a bigger Maverick!

Wonder what the pricing difference will be, I’m sure higher rightfully so since it’s a different class, etc

You can probably look at the pricing for the new Chevy Colorado as a guide. Not cheap.

Have to admit, the next-gen Ranger looks pretty great

I would take a XL stripper superduty over a loaded ranger any day. The ranger is over priced and will be eliminated by ford again for the same reason it failed the first time. $$$

That's not a standard Ranger. It's a Raptor and very different. Nearly everything Ranger related on internet right now are non-USA including any test reports like this. Not only that, when Raptor does go on sale here the low-end estimates for pricing Wil start around $60k.

You are out of your mind. Can't even respond to misinformation like that.

Best guesstimate I've seen so far is add $3k to existing starting point on current build & price tool.

I'm aware it's not a standard Ranger.

And that Raptors are overpriced.

That doesn't make it not look cool. And I also think the non-Raptor version of the new gen Ranger looks cool. And the steering wheel being on the other side made it pretty obvious this was a non-US model. We know that this is effectively what's coming next year though at least looks-wise.

Yikes on bike, my guy -- relax.

The Ranger is here to stay. It does not matter that it only offers the same interior space as the Maverick because they fill two entirely different niches.

The Ranger is never getting 30 MPG.

The Maverick is never getting a ladder frame, and won't tow 7,000 lbs.

I'm waiting patiently to see what I can get a Ranger for. I'm already looking at about $33k for my Maverick Tremor that can only tow 2k lbs.

For a Ranger with a 2 speed transfer case, ladder frame, and 2.3 EB - I'd pay another $7-10k all day long.

The problem is - you can get into a new Silverado 1500 LT (2.7 turbo 4) for $43-45k right now. The only reason to get a Ranger at that price point would be size. The Silverado LT also does not have a two-speed transfer case so it doesn't have low gearing but it does have the G80 auto-rear locker which is not preferrable to a manual locker but way better than just an open diff.
