2023 -...
The Miles to Empty calculation is purely volume of gas you have compared to your recent driving miles per gallon.
Like if you drive more conservatively or in any other more fuel efficient way, the number will go up as you drive (like I drove the PA turnpike a few days ago -- and as I started...
Tires are always overfilled at delivery in case the vehicle ends up sitting.
Just take the pressure down (and use a tire gauge because the app thing isn't a real time readout and doesn't immediately update)
Your miles to empty is going to change based on your driving style. It looks at the Miles per Gallon on the last chunk of driving you've done (I think the last 250 miles -- but I haven't checked) and comes up with the number from that.
I mean, if you're seeing a discrepancy between the two...
Looking at your signature our builds are almost identical and we got our Mavericks like a week apart, so probably everything that applies to my truck applies to yours. 😆
Honestly I prefer it when the dealer installs it, cuz I tend to do a bad job. 😆
When I moved from Indiana (no front plate) to Wisconsin (required front plate), I had to install the bracket on my Nissan Versa. And I didn't notice I was parked on a slight angle. And I installed it just SLIGHTLY...
Honestly I'm really excited to see what smaller EVs come out. I mean, I expect my Maverick will last me quite some time, but I need to replace my hatchback in a few years -- and a nice, little electric thing to zip around town in would be handy.
Because the Brake pedal engages the Regen prior to engaging the Disk Brakes.
Which is what I've been saying. Brake pedal does not equal Brakes in a hybrid.
Regen doesn't use the brake pads at all. It only works because it's done by the electric motor. The brake pads engage when you need additional stopping the regen can't provide.
