Did they replace the bad module?
Picked up the truck, nope no module replaced, they told me Ford is aware of a Ford Pass issue and not to res my phone until their software engineers can figure out what the issue is.
from my service order:
Perform diagnosis retrieve codes u3003 battery voltage, perform charging system check, tested ok. Test battery , battery test failed. Replace and install new battery, clear codes and program BMS, now found traction control light on ABS light on, retrieve codes on ABS u3012.68 control model improper wake u performance. Perform ABS software update and reprogram several modules as per computer clear codes and perform post road test.

drove it home with no issues. I would recommend hybrid owners remove their hybrid from the app. I had zero issues, just died out of the blue And according to dealer it was due to the app.

Sounds like yours wasn't the faulty cable like most of the dead hybrid people are reporting...

Could be nothing but a coincidence BUT ... when my HYBRID died, it was about a 1/2 hour after I had installed, activated, and used the Ford APP to set a few things on the truck.
Aaaaahhhhh. You turned on the kiss of death your lease is up timer?🤷

At the end of the day is just a battery cable, and yes is an inconvenience when it happens but where are the ”tons” of trucks with the problems so far is a hand full. I own 9 hybrids for my business with accumulated milage of 165k and not a single problem 2 of them just hit 36k absolutely love the truck and incredible mpg
Well, if there is one truck like that there are literally tons of truck with that issue given that the Maverick has a GVW of around 5,200 pounds.

But yes, people are making it seem like this is affecting most of the hybrid Mavericks and it's just not.

If you're the one in a thousand that it happens to, it sucks. That doesn't mean it's the norm.

My truck was dead on arrival after a long layover flight home. While I was away, I received the kiss of death message on my app that remote services were disabled to save battery life. I left my key in the glovebox, as I have the XLT with keypad. Keypad didn't work and it required a 1 hour wait for roadside assistance. They came, broke into the truck very quickly and then it required a jump. I drove 20 miles home on the freeway and there were no warning lights. About 4 hours later, app alerted me that it was shutting down remote features again. I managed to start the truck in the morning went to the dealeship. After 4 days, they couldn't find anything wrong, but I was showing repeated screenshots of battery issues and suggested they look at P/N from this thread. They called me yesterday, day 9 and indicated that they replaced the 12v battery and it's ready for pickup. I told them I will pickup the following day, and sure enough I received a message that remote services are once again turned off to preserve, (new) the battery life. Called dealership this morning and requested that someone go and check on the truck before I show up. Will update once I know more.

As you know by reading these threads they need to replace the bad wire... The issue is not the battery....

I provided them the part number for the wire and test others were running. I also believe it to be the wire, but I am not a mechanic.

Drove to the dealership and asked them to check on truck before I picked it up. They confirmed that the new battery is now dead and wrote down the wiring harness part number that was posted here. Truck is back in the shop.

Thanks. I have updated the original post to include this information ... here is what it looks like:

--------------- REPORT #5 [Dealer Warranty Service] --------------

Thanks to: @Aza/ Facebook

Troubleshooting:

Multiple voltage related Diagnostic Test Codes (DTC's) showing

1) Performed Battery Charge Evaluator (BCE) Pinpoint Test - 12v Battery = PASS [+12v @ Battery/ Connector: C4070-1]

2) Checked @ Battery Junction Box (BJB)/ Connector C1617E-1 = +2.9v

3) Test Checked Standard Duty Cycle (SDC)02 from Connector C4070A-1 to C1617E-1 = 0.02 Ohms

REMOVED the following for access to C1617E-1:

  1. Harness 14300
  2. Battery Junction Box (BJB)
  3. DC-to-DC Converter

FINDINGS/ OBSERVATIONS:

Found that when moving the Tab/ Terminal end <of connector> C1617E-1 it would read variable resistance (Ohms) values

Removed Heat Shrink from Tab/ Terminal end <of connector> C1617E-1.

Found that Tab/ Terminal end <of connector> C1617E-1 was loose and not properly soldered to the 12v battery cable

This <was determined to> caused poor/ erratic connection between tab/ terminal and battery cable resulting in high resistance/ voltage drop in that connection

FIX -

Performed Bare Cooper Electrical (BCE) wire repair to harness 14300 <unclear what the actual repair was>

Tested all of the above previous check points and observed no change during wiggle test.

Vehicle starts and runs.

EDITOR (a.k.a. OP) NOTE: If one looks at the diagram further below on the original post, there is a 14290 & a 14305 cable but no 14300 shown . This could simply be that 14300 is an updated P/N and/or the diagram might be outdated. In any event, these seem to be the types of cable that the technician is referring to.

Day 31 - Replacement Harness arrived at Dealer and Installed. Problem apparently solved. Service Report attached.

Day 8 - Dealer Diagnosis Today (5/30/2022): Faulty Electrical Harness. The cable between the 12V battery and relay was defective. The replacement harness is on backorder, possibly 3-4 weeks. Thank goodness that they found the short and I do not have to live with chargers, jumpers, and uncertainty. I hope that this helps others who have, or may, experienced the problem. I had no warning signs, deep sleep messages, etc. (see below). Hybrid, built 12/22/2021.

Day 4 - Ford Service Update, Gullo Ford, Conroe, TX. Service Advisor, Dean Wachner, called today to let me know that they are perplexed and continuing to research the problem, They have opened a ticket with Ford for assistance. Battery, Alternator, and everything checks ok, but 12V battery is immediately drained when car is turned off. They are also still "working" on a loaner car.

History: Hybrid Lariat - 5 months and 4500 miles of flawless performance. No "Deep Sleep" messages or any type of warnings. May 22, I drove 10 miles, parked for 15 minutes, got back in it and it was as dead as a door nail. Never a problem of any kind before. From reading this Forum, I told myself, "Aw s!*t, Dead Maverick!". Knowing what lay ahead, and being totally pissed and extremely disappointed, I called Ford Roadside Assistance to begin the process. He jump started it with a booster, but after I turned it off, it was again completely dead. He jumped it again, and I headed straight to the Ford Dealer and parked it in the Service Lane. After driving 20 miles, it was completely dead again. May 23, I called the Ford Service Advisor, who said that the battery looked ok, and they were checking everything else for Hybrid problem possibilities.
