86K total not yet. my yet to be built hybrid is 79K maybe by Oct. also only 40 % hybrid. I do hope this is a small problem.

At the end of the day is just a battery cable, and yes is an inconvenience when it happens but where are the ”tons” of trucks with the problems so far is a hand full. I own 9 hybrids for my business with accumulated milage of 165k and not a single problem 2 of them just hit 36k absolutely love the truck and incredible mpg

so Far only 2 people have posted with the problem harness, I like to see a hard count of actual people that had the problem so far of all the treads I have seen I counted 7 with the problem harness out of 86k trucks built so far.

My VIN is 86XXX and won't be built until at least late August. Hard to say how many of each 2.0 and 2.5 that Ford has produced. Every person who owns a Mav is not a member of this forum. For every one person here that reports this issue, there could be one, five or 10 others who also have the issue. Nobody knows.

Until it happens to you. We’ve been without the truck since June 1 and there were only 1500 miles on it. We just got a loaner yesterday. It’s fantastic until it isn’t, there was absolutely no warning. Don’t downplay this issue as just an “inconvenience” just because you aren’t affected.

We don’t even know when the harness will be available and we’re on our third week waiting - much more than a simple “inconvenience.” I just added our complaint to the NHTSA site.

There’s many more posts about the issue on this forum, Facebook and Reddit (I’m on all 3). Even a simple google search turns up many posts about this same issue.

Not everyone with this issue is posting about it. You can stop counting because your number won’t be accurate.
