This is a repeat, but I just placed my order on the cutoff date of Jan 27th at the Helena Ford Dealership, in Helena, Montana. It states “cleanup scheduling” what does this mean? Will it be ready to be shipped by April 1st? My loan pre-approval expires on March 27th/28.

According to dealers, if your hybrid hasn't been scheduled it's not being built in the 2022 model year.
Also, if you didn’t order a non hybrid eco boost model by Jan 27th, you will have to wait for the 2023 models. This is reminiscent of being pregnant and waiting for the delivery date.

I'm predicting you will not get your Maverick by April 1st. I'm not saying this to be mean, but this Thursday is scheduling for the week of March 28. So if your build starts and finishes with no issues you're still looking at weeks for delivery. I would say that wouldn't get your Maverick until late May or early June and that's if you get a build date straight away. The only way I can see you getting a Maverick by April 1st is finding one at a dealership that has one that was turned down by the original person that ordered it.

Where do the production scheduling updates originate from?

I got a new canned response when talking with Ford chat today. Instead of the regular script of "your vehicle will be scheduled at the earliest available production opportunity" I got, "We are working hard and exploring other options to ramp up production to get orders scheduled as quickly as possibly."

Well not according to my dealer. With 6-7 months of production still available I don't believe for a minute that hybrid production has ended for 2022. I will grant that there's a possibility that some might be pushed to MY23, but unless there's a collapse of the supply chain, Maverick hybrid production is going to continue.
Maybe you're not living in the same world that I am but the supply chain has been collapsing for the last year and a half. Not my hopes that'll be crushed; you can keep dreaming.

Thank you. I just happened to see one being picked up at the Helena Ford but didn’t know how long she had waited. I hope my salesman will watch out for me if one does get rejected.

Well I'm not dreaming I'm just reading the various bits of information that are available on Maverick in regards to scheduling and production then stewing, boiling it and finally making a decision on what I want to believe. Call me an optimist, but I think Ford will get nearly, if not all, MY22 Mavericks built by late Sept/early Oct like they are currently stating. I think they were smart in stopping taking order for the hybrid and finally Ecoboost, because it wrong to continue to take orders knowing there's no way they can be built in time. So now Ford has a fixed number of orders to build and can make adjustments to meet those orders. There are two areas that I'm aware of where Ford can make adjustments to increase retail order deliveries. The first is the South American market, which right now could be a small number, but any build for that market means less for the American/Canadian market, also this only applies to the Ecoboost model. The other is the fleet market. I'm not currently aware of how many (if any) Ford is slating for the fleet builds, but again even one is one less for the retail market. Only a sever break in the supply chain for manufacturing will cause any more hybrids not to get built, which I haven't heard of. I do think there will probably be a few more delays as supplies come up short for build weeks, but not a total stoppage. Delays do not equal collapse.

So it looks like if you have 3,500 Hybrids planned x 40% = 1,400 will be built?

Then if take the other constraints, you could figure out roughly how many will be built per item. When you break it down like that then it's more understandable why so few hybrids with Lux package or 360 package etc are getting built.

So probably another good week for Ecoboost orders since it seems that Hybrid orders already scheduled have been pushed back by 3-4 weeks, which I'm guessing means supply issues again.
I'm hoping that whatever gets scheduled comes from the June/July orders still waiting for a build date.
I hope so! I ordered June 29th! Still not a word. Moved from priority 19 to 2 prior to Christmas, but no build date! Getting very frustrated

Just out of curiosity, why did you order out of Helena Ford vs Kendall Ford in Bozeman?

But anyway if you want something by the end of March you're almost going to have to find one on a dealer lot.
