  1. What's your Maverick mileage and ownership time?

Picked up the Maverick XLT Hybrid Oct 06, 2022, and presently have 44,585 miles. Needless to say, my job keeps me on the road.

  5. Tire Pressure Difference Sticker/Tires

I noticed that on the FordPass on my phone has 35 psi as the recommended cold tire pressure. I believe that is Ford's recommended for best mpg.
  6. 2022 FORD MAV HYBRID ISSUE

We have driven in 10 F degrees and have had no issues except low mpg.
  7. Why did you join this forum?

I joined back in Oct 2021 because I had just ordered our XLT Hybrid and wanted to be aware of what to expect. Well, Oct 2022 we got our XLT and here we are 38,000 miles later with no issues and 37 mpg combined. 80% + has been mountain an highway. Once in town I got 63 mpg, mostly electric. We...
  8. Winter handling

I live in Washington state. Due to work I need to cross over the Snoqualmie Pass which is often restricted. I have a separate set of rims and tires [blizzak w90] for winter. Our Maverick XLT Hybrid has handled the ice/snow conditions just fine. Caution is the key attitude. In the 11 months that...
  9. * questions for owners that live in mountain areas

We have an XLT Hybrid 2022, and we have 2 sets of rims, winter tires on one set and all-season (factory tires) on the other set. We cross the Snoqualmie Pass in WA every week due to work and have had no issues. It does help to have had 15 yrs experience of driving a 40 ft bus in mountains. But I...
  10. Door handle area panel wavy (poor quality ?)

We got the basic XLT then added simonized coating and then had Line-X put on the bed and added aftermarket heated seats, then proceeded to add 25K+ miles in 10 months with lot of highway mountain driving and have had zero problems. We are really pleased with with this "poorly-made" truck.
  11. Is there a difference from XL and Base XLT ‘24

With the "points" you get at purchase time I added to the driver's side the bed storage cubbie on our XLT. Nice to have additional storage "for free."
  12. How long do you plan to keep your Maverick?

Basically, until it dies, or I die. We have had no issues, and in 10 months we have put on it already 25K+ miles.
  13. Who needs a hybrid anyways?!

You just qualified yourself by saying you don’t care about commute. The hybrid is designed for those who mostly do commute.
  14. Where are we from?

Born in Argentina, worked in Puerto Rico, Mexico, California and now retired in Blaine, WA. And now enjoying our XLT Hybrid.
  15. Sound Quality

I would agree with JP4AZ, the factory speakers are good for general purposes. We have an XLT Hybrid '22, and 25k miles later still have the factory speakers.
  16. My truck was delivered to my house yesterday

Congratulations on the new arrival. I had basically the same experience with our dealership, Marty Walker at Ford-Lincoln of Bellingham, WA is my salesman and dealership. I was from Waterloo, IA and it is nice to hear that there are good dealerships there also. We have an XLT hybrid and we got...
  17. Maverick Tailgate Letters PPF Cutout

Great look. In that ours is Carbonized Gray, it might not work. But then it might. attached is what I did.
  18. My Maverick totaled... while I was on vacation!

This is sad. Sad it happened and even sadder that you have to wait at minimum a year for a new one [if you can order one now].
  19. FordHybrid

    Pacific Northwest Mavericks

We live in the Birch Bay/Blaine, WA area. We have had our Maverick XLT Hybrid since 10/06/2022. We ordered in 10/14/2021, which is virtually a week short of a years wait. We presently have 24,876 miles on it with an average MPG of 36.13 with around 80% of those miles being highway driving...
  20. His and Hers Mavericks.

I imagine that if we were to go two vehicles it would be 2 Mavericks. We love our XLT Hybrid.
