My dealer has an XLT ECO LUX sitting on the lot….they said it was one they ordered for stock….small dealer, my order was placed 10/22 for XLT hybrid LUX….no other options…no allocation until Jan…..does the stock model have to be sold first to free up and allocation spot???

Wondering how many of the June/July orders still without build dates made changes to their initial order and therefore bumped them down?

I am a June A51 XLT Hybrid who has made no changes and received no scheduling emails. Was hopeful for a bit when I saw quite a few A51 being scheduled with similar builds to mine but not my week.

Oh it's definitely designed to reward the larger dealerships, and as a result it is a vicious cycle that insures the higher volume dealerships remain high volume. Remember, corporate Ford does not sell to you, it sells the vehicle to the dealer, the dealer turns around and sells it to the consumer. So, in a way, Ford is catering to their buyers - the dealerships.

Yea... I can't wait till Tesla blows this shit out the water and paves the way for direct manufacturer auto sales.

Literally no Hybrids ordered in September or October have build dates as far as I know so far.

Ford can produce more Ecoboosts because of parts availability.

Sadly,Thursday is now a disappointing day without the “golden” email from Ford. When my July order is passed by a August order that looks like my order it makes me very sad. I now will wait until the next week Thursday “golden “ email !

It still looked like a lot more scheduled from July than August, and all the August ones I saw were from the first week of the month.

What size dealer did you order from?

I ordered from Chapman in NE Philly. Pretty large dealership. Very close to my home and they offered great pricing as well. Funny thing is my brother in San Diego texted me last night and is going to buy an XL Hybrid off the lot as someone decided not to buy it. So he will get his before I did and I am just shy of waiting 6 months. He was in right place at right time.

Back when I ordered in June I was hoping to get it by March or April of 2022. Get one more winter out of my old Honda. Now I am pretty sure April is probably the earliest I could get one. In the grand scheme of things this is small potatoes.
