Here to steal thunder - Ecoboost orders are getting filled much more quickly than Hybrids. I've heard of several orders from early December getting scheduled. And dealers are getting them in daily.
No, they aren't around here. My dealer has 60 orders for Mavericks. 35 of the 60 are hybrid. 25 are EB.... I'm # 15 of the EB's. To date they have received in grand total....

4 trucks.

no build date yet for me.

I don't think the dates matter. I had a scheduled build for DEC6 then They changed it to Dec 13.
Now my dealer says the scheduled build will be on 7 January. When you constantly move dates
the build emails just build frustration in Folks. After all its just a plain Xl hybrid. I was told it was
all about dealer allocation. So if you order from some smaller dealer you my not see it for a long long time. Not nice to their customers.

Called Ford Marketing; lady was hilarious. She saw my July 16th order date and was like "How has this not been snatched yet?! Probably another victim of the allocation system." Even their own employees think this allocation system is bullshit. She even went on to say that she's not sure who the system benefits, the customer or the dealership. :ROFLMAO:
Oh it's definitely designed to reward the larger dealerships, and as a result it is a vicious cycle that insures the higher volume dealerships remain high volume. Remember, corporate Ford does not sell to you, it sells the vehicle to the dealer, the dealer turns around and sells it to the consumer. So, in a way, Ford is catering to their buyers - the dealerships.

That depends on your the allocations your dealer receives it’s more than likely a crap shoot where they throw a bunch of orders down the stairs and whoever is at the bottom gets their build date

Tim said Dec date changes were caused by batch of defective chips.

It really does come down to dealer allocations. If the sales manager is not fighting and clawing and pleading with the regional manager for more allocations, then you're left with whatever amount is assigned to the small dealership. I went with a small dealership and just got scheduled today (4 months after they started scheduling in mid August).
