Its really bad we have to wait almost a year for our hybrid. I am really not happy with Ford. My first brand new car experience has been pretty shit. They should just make my car a 2023 model at this point. I am not getting a new truck for Christmas and I am not even going to have it for my birthday in April. Totally bummed to the point that not even excited about my first purchase.

At least it is pretty shit. Would suck to have an ugly shit for your experience.

We have just received our email from Ford notifying us of our XLT HYBRID build scheduled for the week of February 21, 2022. Long wait but now we can really have something to look forward to this Spring!

Lots of june/july/august hybrid orders being scheduled too. Good to see Ford clearing out some of the backlog. Also seeing eco orders scheduled that were placed after mine. Feels like they are catching up.

Tim is great, but I've got to believe that's the party line. Plenty of June/July orders still unscheduled and a few August orders getting scheduled. If Ford was really trying to do this, they'd only scheduled June/July Hybrid orders-allocation system be damned and then August orders. It's just the party line. At this point, it'll be at a year before many of us get our hybrids. If Ford really was doing this, Mike Levine or someone in Ford leadership would come out and say it or we'd get an e-mail stating this. But that's never going to happen.

Called Ford Marketing; lady was hilarious. She saw my July 16th order date and was like "How has this not been snatched yet?! Probably another victim of the allocation system." Even their own employees think this allocation system is bullshit. She even went on to say that she's not sure who the system benefits, the customer or the dealership.

I agree, I don't thank Ford's customer service knows much., other than the date our trucks were ordered. I called the other day about my VIN # because I was told if I didn't have it by the end of November to call back. We'll, I called back and no VIN. Ordered truck FE Hybrid Rapid Red Lariat on 8/15. Now, I am not looking for my truck in the driveway until April or later.

I am extremely happy for you, but also a little sad. I ordered a month ahead of you, hybrid xlt lux with floormats only in Orange County CA, and nothing. I really didn't want both of my registrations due at the same time.

On a positive note, after driving my car for a couple of more months, Carvana thinks it’s worth $1,200 more. So in theory a new car should cost less than a used one? I should be able to make an even trade by the time my Maverick makes it.
