I have had my 2024 close to a year now. It is an XLT with luxury and black package. I really like and enjoy the truck. But as with most vehicles there always seems to be one item that bugs the heck out of you.
My one item: I can't believe Ford didn't put power windows with one-touch up. Ughh! Every time I go to a drive-through I curse that I have to hold the button while driving off. My 2013 CRV had one touch up and down. That is my one gripe.

What is your one pet peeve about the truck that you would change if possible? Just mention one please. :)

My 22 Maverick has this feature...perhaps it is only available with the Lariat trim.

I'd say if your one gripe is that minor, you're in good shape.

I should've known this going in but for me, it's the easily scratched interior. Even if you look at it wrong, it finds a way to scratch. It's all over the trim around the grab handle. The plastic has no give whatsoever. Just cold, hard, brittle plastic.

Even if "it's only a $20K truck" that doesn't give them the right to use the absolute crappiest plastic in the world. There's a lot of $20K vehicles that use nicer, injection molding plastic that's soft to the touch and is more scratch resistant. For example, the Mazda 3, Honda Civic and Kia K4.

And speaking of plastic, it likes to rattle from time to time. It depends on the outside temperature. This has been a common complaint since launch. Once you hear it, it's annoying as f***.

I's cheap recycled plastic, it was even in all the marketing videos and material in 2022. I think the plastic is better than I expected to be honest. I have far fewer scratches than I anticipated based on what some people were saying when I bought the truck a little over 2 1/2 years ago and I'm not exactly careful when I pulling my gear out, some of which is made with harder plastics.

For me my one thing is overall quality of things that matter, like software and some of the mechanical parts.

As another owner with the BAP, you'll understand this one.

Chrome lug nuts!!!

For what we (grossly over) paid for this package, black ones should be included.

No turning signal indicators on the sides of the truck. On the mirrors would have been nice, but lacking that I decided to incorporate my own indicators into the side badges. Many others have done the same.

Honestly for me I think for my XLT it’s the lack of the slow open tailgate.
