  1. Switched order from Hybrid to Eco

Like someone else mentioned, I was Eco-bound from the start. I've had two of them so far. The first order was placed at the very beginning back in September 2021. Right on time for the first Mavericks to go into production. I was tempted to get a Cactus Grey XLT Hybrid with the luxury...
  2. Maverick destroys sales of Santa Cruz and every other compact-midsize pickup in Q1 2024

I think the majority of those are the refresh. They recently went into production while the leftover 23s were made a while ago and have either sold already or sold slowly ever since. Because the refresh is so new to the market, there haven't been a lot of reported sales yet. By summertime...
  3. Thinking about giving up

This is similar to how I feel just discovering about the continued fuel injector recall on the '22 to '23 Bronco Sports considering my mom's car falls within the threshold of affected vehicles. However, I'm not gonna let that stop me from driving it or constantly worrying if it'll catch on...
  4. When Can I Order a 2025 Maverick?

To answer your questions, no, Ford has yet to announce when the order banks for the 25MY Mavericks will open considering the refreshed production model hasn't been officially released to the public yet. But guesstimates say it'll be unveiled during the summer time and order banks will open soon...
  5. Sorry youngsters, I had to go old school Maverick build!

I had a feeling it would we wheel related. Looks good though. They remind of the Mag wheels that were and are still very popular with muscle cars. I wouldn't minded chrome wheels myself. They're easy to clean and look so good when they're polished 😍
  6. Must have a rare truck

I've had two Ecoboost Mavericks and both have been mechanically solid. The first one did have some recalls but that's to be expected with any manufacturer these days. None of it had to do with drive components, just cosmetics (with the exception of the airbag recall which was a safety issue.)...
  7. Land Rover Velar 19" Wheels on 2022 Lariat Hybrid

Fits the look pretty well. It's also fitting they happen to be off a Land Rover considering Ford owned them once upon a time.
  8. Thinking of trading in 22 hybrid for 24

Well, considering I'm one of the ones who traded in a '22 for a '24, I can safely say yes, I am very happy with the '24. There are some minor improvements that have been made since launch. For example, there's more sound deadening all thanks to foam pads that are installed in the front door...
  9. Who Says the Maverick Isn't a Real Truck?

I just meant that in a general sense, particularly for the Hybrid owners. I have almost achieved 40 mpg in mine, I topped out at 38.
  10. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

Just wanted to demonstrate that a Maverick is, in fact, a truck and can do truck things! There's a lot of naysayers out there that say otherwise. They make comments like, "That's not a man's truck!" or "It's just an Escape with a bed!" or like this one that I actually got from a Youtube...

  12. Diode Dynamics fog lights installed!

I'm not usually a fan of lowered trucks but I have to say, this looks fantastic! Great color choice by the way! The truck looks so much cleaner with everything body colored. The foglights are a nice touch. I wonder if Ford will eventually add them from the factory. Maybe for the 25 refresh...
  13. I got 40 mpg with my 2.0 eco boost.

You know, it's not entirely unheard of to achieve 40 mpg with an Ecoboost. My previous Maverick was able to achieve 38 mpg on a highway trip. If I had drove a little longer it probably would've got there. And it was an AWD Maverick mind you.
  14. What's your Maverick mileage and ownership time?

'24 Maverick Lariat FX4 (Hot Pepper Red) Ownership: 1 month Mileage: 644 I only average about 500-600 miles a month but I drive it virtually every day, just not very far. To and from work which is eight minutes away and occasionally out of town. That's it.
  15. You CAN install Lariat headlights & tail lights on XL / XLT Mavericks!

I like the BAP headlights and taillights but don't like the black interior that comes with it. It's too bad these units are so expensive. Or better yet, not standard across the trims. What doesn't make any sense is that on the online configurator, it depicts every trim with LED DRLs. They've...
  16. Happy With My New Maverick

I'm glad you had a great sales experience. Many others were not that fortunate. Nice color too. I almost considered this but I just couldn't pass up my all-time favorite color, Hot Pepper Red. My sales experience was pleasurable as well. Welcome to the club (y)
  17. What do you use to clean the (blue) very sensitive interior plastic with?

303 Aerospace for me. You can find it at any auto parts store like O'Rielly's or Auto Zone. Does wonders for plastics.
  18. All-New 2024 Ranger / Ranger Raptor Deliveries + First Press Reviews Are In

I gotcha. At first it didn't make sense to me to put on order on a vehicle that you had no intention of buying. But, since you get a $500 discount for placing an order and have a healthy relationship with the dealer it makes more sense now. I've been wondering when the new Rangers would...
