Hello,,
I am very close on closing on a 2025 Maverick and checked with State Farm about the insurance of a 2025 Maverick XL, AWD, Hybrid. Almost fell out of my chair when I received the quote. It was originally $ 284.77 and it was then reduced to $ 212.68 which is still very very expensive.
On my current policy with 2 cars (2018 Passat and a 1990 LS400) plus two motorcycles I pay less than that - also with the same State Farm agent. Of course they sent me the typical excuse about all of the safety features cost replacement etc.

Was wondering if this is a general issue with the Maverick or if State Farm is trying to take advantage of the situation? Would be interesting to know who much you guys pay on full coverage and a $ 500.00 deductible?

Thanks,
Mario
I pay $1100/yr with $250 deductible and that is $1,000,000 worth of coverage
My daughter pays $1700/yr for a 2023 Kia Niro. Mine is a 2023 XLT/FX4.
I guess I am doing pretty well. Been with Acuity about 35 years.

I feel lucky. Mine was 1263 for the year so only 105 a month. Of course, that's with discounts because we have two cars and the home with the same company. But I don't know how much that matters.
Mine is about 750 for 12 months. With rental car coverage, 100 deductible comp and 500 collision. No accidents. I have Mutual of Enumclaw insurance. Great company, but they are only available if a few states.

Thanks a lot for everyone’s input. Really appreciate it.
The rates are all over the place depending on location as well. But the one I posted is by far the highest. Will get some other quotes in as well.
At least it confirms my suspicion about the extremely high quote.
good idea - insurance companies get complacent with long term customer and tend to jack up the prices because they figure you'll just pay it because well that's just what you do...

keep in mind with insurance costs and doing comparisons that safety features and safety ratings have a huge impact - remember it costs a whole lot more to fix 'you' than it does to fix the vehicle, that usually accounts for the differences in prices ..

My Mav has the lowest insurance cost of any vehicle that I've ever owned. You're probably getting stung for accident claims even though they won't admit it.

My Mav is $396 for 6 months with State Farm. And two teenagers also. An Expedition and an Explorer and home add discounts.

Seems that location makes a huge difference. Living in Houston does definitely not help with low insurance.

In Maine we are paying $675 a year with $500 deductible for an all-wheel-drive hybrid lariat. The quote includes a variety of discounts from State Farm.

Don't forget that you're currently ensuring two older vehicles that have much lower value if totaled. That being said, I had a weird thing with State Farm sending me this complex form about one of my rental properties and telling me they were going to run it through AI and then the quote was 50% more. When I questioned them if they could define what the extra costs were since I already pay a cost of living increase each year. They couldn't tell me what it was for and just said it was the AI... They eventually put it back to the regular rate when I wanted an explanation about what the extra costs were for. I pay $160/Mo with them for 22Mav/19 Fiesta/94 Toyota P'up and 2005 Kawasaki. Which I would say is good but I'm in a low risk area clean driving record and have never made a claim..
