Hello,,
I am very close on closing on a 2025 Maverick and checked with State Farm about the insurance of a 2025 Maverick XL, AWD, Hybrid. Almost fell out of my chair when I received the quote. It was originally $ 284.77 and it was then reduced to $ 212.68 which is still very very expensive.
On my current policy with 2 cars (2018 Passat and a 1990 LS400) plus two motorcycles I pay less than that - also with the same State Farm agent. Of course they sent me the typical excuse about all of the safety features cost replacement etc.

Was wondering if this is a general issue with the Maverick or if State Farm is trying to take advantage of the situation? Would be interesting to know who much you guys pay on full coverage and a $ 500.00 deductible?

Thanks,
Mario
I have AutoOwners pay $1200 a year live in northeast ILL combined w/home, I pay once when it comes in and I save another 10 prcent

You kids and your phones. Get in your truck and drive over to your agents office, and have them look at in-person.

Last time I hit a deer, I used the StateFarm phone app to photograph the damage and file a claim. State Farm sent me a check in just a few days. I went to body shop of choice for damage repair. Since it cost more than estimate, body shop submitted a supplemental with SF and SF paid them directly and fast, for the additional cost.

There are no State Farm claim adjusters where I live. You do not go to the agent's office to file a claim.

Guess I'm a gambler.
My deductible is much higher than most are posting. I think it's $2k even.

My month old Mav got rear ended by uninsured driver, $0 out of pocket for me bc of waiver for that. As long as I don't cause the damage, or mother nature, I don't have to pay $2k.

Unfortunately, our 19-year-old daughter had an accident about 2 years ago. But our insurance did not go up after that.
One option to consider is having the 19 year old get her own policy with just the vehicle she drives. Assuming she is driving one of the older vehicles and not the Maverick. Remove her from the Maverick policy and see what the rates look like.

I'd recheck. I have State Farm and have a good rate. They recently sent me a letter offering to insure my motorcycle so I checked it out. The girl running the numbers gave me a quote 3 times more than my current motorcycle insurance. Later, I went with a different agent and the quote dropped to just a little more. Software issue? Data entry mistakes? Time of day? Whatever, I'm happy with the service from State Farm.

I went from a 2017 Frontier to 2024 Maverick and my bill went up $38 a year, in a low cost insurance state.

I have been with State Farm my whole driving career. Never had an issue until this year. No accidents or anything and they wanted 2450 for the year to insure my 25 Lariat. Absolutely crazy.

I've heard good things about Progressive so I got a quote from them. 750 for 6 months with better coverage. The agents I spoke with were much more helpful than State Farm as well. I was very happy to switch.
I have state farm for 54 years. Am happy and carry more than minimums. Also have $50 comp deductible (grandfathered in) on one 2022 lariat, $100 deductible on second 2022 xlt lux Maverick. $250 collision deductible on each. Just under $190/month for each truck.
In January 2025 the Lariat was hit in drivers side rear quarter panel just crushing that panel and bending support brackets. Only chipped paint on door edge less than 1/16" but required repainting since First Edition decal not available I asked painter to blend paint without disturbing decal. The bent support brackets required minor welding which burned spots on OEM spray in liner. (Towing to/from linex for respray $735) Plus respray at $699. Scuff mark on tire required replacement plus verification that rim was still in specs. Rear bumper cover scratched so replaced. At fault drivers insurance paid $12,722.45 repairs plus 5 weeks rental car, plus adjusters fee, then paid $2,140.00 for diminished value.
So.... when a quarter panel cost INS company about $17,000 it will be grabbed as data for underwriting including AI if used to calculate every insurance companies premiums.

Is that for all the vehicles? Per month? I use Gieco, have a New Buick Envision and the 2025 Maverick 300/100 full coverage, 500ded, $269/mo.

Agreed, Ford Insure gave me a better price then State Farm only downside is that they do not insure motorcycles and so I kept my bike with State Farm as they were the cheapest for that.

My 2025 Hybrid Lariat Maverick plus my 2016 Mazda CX 5 combined come to $271 per month. Those numbers seem high given the insurance on the Maverick is less than the CX 5.

I am in Canada and those numbers are CND $
Forgot to mention that also has my 19 year old granddaughter on it. She's $155 a month of that.

Rates depend upon where you live. I live in Florida, have 2 vehicles (2022 hybrid Maverick and 2016 Acura MDX) excellent clean records (me and wife) defensive driver deductions etc. I pay $939.00 for 6 months with Progressive, and that's the cheapest I can find! That's $156.50 a month.
