Hello,,
I am very close on closing on a 2025 Maverick and checked with State Farm about the insurance of a 2025 Maverick XL, AWD, Hybrid. Almost fell out of my chair when I received the quote. It was originally $ 284.77 and it was then reduced to $ 212.68 which is still very very expensive.
On my current policy with 2 cars (2018 Passat and a 1990 LS400) plus two motorcycles I pay less than that - also with the same State Farm agent. Of course they sent me the typical excuse about all of the safety features cost replacement etc.

Was wondering if this is a general issue with the Maverick or if State Farm is trying to take advantage of the situation? Would be interesting to know who much you guys pay on full coverage and a $ 500.00 deductible?

Thanks,
Mario
I have a 23 XL hybrid and I just paid $423 for 6 mths with State Farm. I've been with SF for 50 years, no accidents and drive less than 5,000 miles a year and I have a $1000 deductible. Also get a discount for having homeowners with them. I live in VA.

2024 FX4 Maverick Lariat w/ nice extra stuff;
GEICO = $319 for a 6 month full coverage policy.
$500 deductible on both Collision and Comp.
W/ rent car and roadside asst/tow.

I just dropped State Farm on my 2011 Ram 2500 4x4 because they were hella expensive and switched it over to GEICO as well.

I think a guy should re-shop for car insurance about every 2 yrs to keep the insurance companies honest. Why should I be loyal to State Farm, or any company, that has been screwing me on the premiums?

Good luck, my friend.

I have a new replacement policy that for the next five years If I total it or It's stolen or a natural disaster takes it I get a new never titled Maverik of the current year for the next five years.
So five years from now I get a 2029 model at no cost to me. This cost me an additional $80 on my annual premium.
My annual Ins. cost is $1100 for my 2024 AWD Eco Lariat with a $250 deductible. And My 2004 Escape that is only under Liability and PIP. Only The Maverick is full coverage.
It would be twice that In Tampa Florida.

So, $91 per month for two vehicles, one heavily Insured one not. NC has been good to me.

Retired, clean DL.

Same here, the Lobo is a pricey little car to insure and costs more than our 2020 Explorer ST. Had to switch our cars from Statefarm to Allstate because Statefarm doesn't offer Gap insurance and I will never finance a new car without Gap insurance ever again... The dealer offered Gap insurance but it was way too pricey. Allstate is cheaper than Statefarm with Gap included.
Is gap necessary for a vehicle which is holding value so well?

My insurance is going to drop $1000CDN per year from my F150 to my Maverick, when I finally actually get to drive it.

I started my coverage for my 2022 at about $340 for three months on my Lariat Hybrid. Today, my policy is $569 for six months. But I don't get the bare minimum through State Farm.

$100k injury ,$300k per accident
Full comp
$500 collision deductible
$10k injury
$50/day $1500/total rental coverage
Road Service includedj

Just make sure you jump out before hitting that palm tree 5 years from now. And delete this evidence.

Thanks a lot for everyone’s input. Really appreciate it.
The rates are all over the place depending on location as well. But the one I posted is by far the highest. Will get some other quotes in as well.
At least it confirms my suspicion about the extremely high quote.

Coverage for my 2022 Maverick went up this year to $445/6months. It was $335/6 months. State Farm, and I also have my home and two other vehicles with them.

That's for 300/100/100.
$100 Comprehensive/Glass deductible.
$500 Collision.

Had the Windshield replaced once for $100 so far.

My 2025 Maverick hybrid awd with 4k tow is only 5$ a month more than my old 2008 Kia Sorento SUV. I think for my wife’s 2023 Bronco Sport and my 25 Maverick we pay about 1600 a year. Try Travelers Insurance.

I had a 2023 Chevy Silverado and I still have a 2005 Mustang convertible. Together they were $1696 a year with 50 comp deductible/250 collision. Traded the Chevy for the Maverick and it went up 426 per year with Eire. The agent said on April 2, Eire increased ALL new policies 25% or more due to the increased cost of IMPORTED repair parts!
Have you shopped around recently? Sounds like a good time to compare...
