I just bought the Leer on sale as well. So I cannot comment if it is leak proof or not. But believe that - like others said - they will all leak. Have also bought a $ 260.00 Autosaver88 hard cover a week earlier which I put on my wife's Mav. Really like it as well. Keeps things somewhat save and...
Sorry for the trouble you are having with your transmission.
Had the opposite experience with VW. Bought a brand new 2018 VW Passat in 2019. Just two months after the warranty expired the transmission went out at 58k miles. It was past the warranty. I had all my service done at VW but...
Thanks a lot for posting this, OP. Appreciate it.
Just ordered one as well. Last week I bought an Autosaver88 one which now will go to my wife's Maverick. LOL.
I should fit. Have seen pictures of an Africa Twin being loaded in the Maverick. As mentioned by DaveVan a trailer would make more sense. I have a TW200 which is a very light bike but I still prefer to hook up my trailer when I go somewhere.
Congratulations on your new LOBO. Looks great. I am with you about the wheels. This is what sets the LOBO apart. All of the new ones look similar to a regular Maverick with its new rim design.
I just acquired a two-fold (three panel) hard tonneau cover for my 25’XL from Autosaver88. Looked on Amazon the reviews were quite good and they currently run there for $ 359.00. By coincidence I came across the same cover on E-bay directly from Autosaver88 for $ 269.09 plus tax and free...
Another one of these things where a lot of people just take it to the stealership. That way Ford makes some additional money on service / repairs.
I am very thankful for the OP and others who provide solutions to somewhat simple issues.
Had a stubby antenna installed for a few weeks but went back to the OEM one. The radio reception (FM) was compromised and did not want to deal with that.
Worry less, drive more.
Living in the suburbs of Houston I never had an issue. Shouldn't keep anything valuable in there anyways. Mainly straps, bungees etc.
But eventually I will be getting a trifold tonneau cover as well to keep larger items protected. Mainly when we go on a...
The wind surface would not be a concern for me as long as you keep your speed down. Nowadays everyone think it is a great idea to cruise down the Interstate at +70 mpg with a trailer behind the truck.
A small water leak would not bother me at all. I mean how much water can get in there? It is not like the entire bed will be flooded and usually it leaves through the channels in the bed.
Will be getting me a tri / bi-fold hard cover very soon. Just waiting for a good sale.
