I should fit. Have seen pictures of an Africa Twin being loaded in the Maverick. As mentioned by DaveVan a trailer would make more sense. I have a TW200 which is a very light bike but I still prefer to hook up my trailer when I go somewhere.

The wind surface would not be a concern for me as long as you keep your speed down. Nowadays everyone think it is a great idea to cruise down the Interstate at +70 mpg with a trailer behind the truck.

A small water leak would not bother me at all. I mean how much water can get in there? It is not like the entire bed will be flooded and usually it leaves through the channels in the bed. Will be getting me a tri / bi-fold hard cover very soon. Just waiting for a good sale.
