Why would you want to keep the F-150? You're going to burn at least twice the gas. Every time I look at a full-size truck I can't understand why people drive these things. I park them at the dealership and it just seems like such an awkward mess to own on a daily basis. I mean I get it if you...
It sort of follows the general popular, dumb trend of big blocky flat front ends that plow through the air and kill pedestrians. This one is tiny compared to the full-size GM and Ram offerings which have gotten almost grotesque in looks. Can they be bigger next time? Personally, I'd like...
Out of habit after an oil change, i check to see if it's been reset and pull the dipstick for level and condition (I know what it looked like before it went in). Doesn't matter how good the garage/dealer is, the master mechanics are generally not doing the oil changes and humans can make errors...
The oil change graph on the app is useful if your too lazy to scroll in the dash. It gives you estimated miles and month it's expected to be changed. If it sits in the garage for a week, it moves down a percentage points drive a lot it moves down quicker. I feel pretty confident in the factory...
I've been following this since the first recall. I received delivery for my truck in April of 2022. I'm a pretty voracious news site reader and I have yet to hear of one of these engines failing. I mean if you were Kia owner and you did some research they would be blowing up right and left. And...
Does anyone actually heard of an engine failure during the first and now second recalls? You would think with all that prevention measures that would be because there was a large number of failures or you would even hear of one?
There was a picture here somewhere in an earlier post showing the areas that tech are advised to cut out. But Ford will keep pounding you with recall notices if you don't get it done at the dealer, for free. Honestly, it seems like a dumb recall to me. I don't see any evidence of engine fires in...
They probably have some new guidance in the test to keep the numbers accurate. Did anyone see a mileage drop after the recall that removed several active grill shutters and altered the belly pan with some new holes? I wonder if they are just continuing this from production or changed how it's made.
I would connect to the jump posts under the hood. I just use a battery keeper like You would use for a lawn tractor or a motorcycle. It won't overcharge and just keep it topped. Kind of silly to pull apart the battery all the time. I've pulled off the red positive here so you can see underneath...
I have gotten the phone app warning once (since april) for a low state of charge after it was sitting in the garage for over a week. Said it was automatically shutting off the modem. It's pretty easy to stick it on a battery keeper with the posts under the hood. So I tend to do that if it's...
I believe there's some circumstances where the upper airbags may not deploy like if the seat is pushed far forward. Like if a person is really short and the track is forward.
This is something I feared when I got my order 11 months later and a new order window opens for 5 days each year. I actually kept the previous car, a fiesta, I was driving rather than trading. And tend to drive it for rainy days, high crime areas, train station long-term and mostly for abusive...
Insurance companies have been also totally vehicles due to parts shortages and it would take six months to get fixed... but then you also can't get a new one due to parts shortages and a 5 day ordering window for the year.
Love this detailed information. I've noticed that as the HV fills up from regen it will tip into engine braking. At least that's what seems like is going on.
My understanding as if 5 p.m. dealer site isn't able to order anything, aka broken. And Mavericks haven't been listed yet. I'm sure if somebody hears of a good order occurring they will post it here!?..... I have some friends texting me to death.
