So you have towed over twice the recommended limit for 130k and no issues. Bravo ford! Curious your maintence, when did you change the trans and RDU fluid?
Agreed! And god forbid you roll the window down when driving 😆. I was going to throw mine out and not replace it but apparently new cars need it to filter the air going to the heater blower motor? Seems like a money grab. Guess the blower motors on new vehicles are not as good as the ones we...
Happy fourth! The reason i never rotate tires....is because i never see a reason to. All 4 tires have the same tread and wear patterns. If i had a vehicle with a worn or faulty suspension and saw tires wearing un- evenly i would rotate, but that has not been the case in 50 years of driving. I...
That seems excessive, our ram sits for 3 weeks sometimes and the battery is fine. I have an antique that routinely sits over a month and the battery is fine. Our maverick has sat maybe a week without use, But the battery is fine.
Interesting. Our mav is 4 years old and the factory battery is fine. Just replaced the battery on my ram, it was 9 years old. Sounds like there is something draining it.
I have a 17 year old ram that I put a drop in bedliner in when new. No topper. If you lift up the liner the bed almost looks new. Easier to slide items in place when loading to secure, and, if you sell said vehicle you can remove the topper and resell it. Thats why I went with a drop in with our...
Everyone is different troy.i did my first and subsequent oil change on our 23 mav at 5k, as per factory recommendation. Will be doing the trans fluid change at 100k, as per factory recommendation. Do what makes you feel good! Just under 50k trouble free miles so far.
Lol, no iam a boomer, guess we do things different. I blew my filters out with compressed air, good to go. I never rotate tires. All 4 always look the same so I think thats a waste of money. All ive done to our mav so far is 5k oil changes. It has 46k on it. No issues.
