@Pines Bettur You ordered it in Ocotber? Geez.... At this point, who's gonna try the Ford Escape trailer hitch to see if it fits?

That was my intent, maybe easier to modify the Escape or Bronco Sport hitch than to fabricate it from scratch.@Pines Bettur You ordered it in Ocotber? Geez.... At this point, who's gonna try the Ford Escape trailer hitch to see if it fits?
Yeah, I ordered it as soon as I got my Maverick.@Pines Bettur You ordered it in Ocotber? Geez.... At this point, who's gonna try the Ford Escape trailer hitch to see if it fits?
@RonR1959 To be clear, you received the genuine Ford Maverick "bolt-on" trailer hitch sold on the Ford Accessories website? Can you show us a pic ofthe invoice that came with it? And where did you order it from?Got the bumper/hitch/receiver in yesterday. I talk to the body shop at the local Ford dealer. They want me to bring this in to give me an estimate of how much it will cost and will let me know if the Escape 4-pin wiring harness will work. Looks like it will, as there’s a slot to the left of the hitch for it.

Apparently its supposed to be just a bolt-on piece. Yeah keep us posted. And if you get bored, send us a pic of the mounting holes on those two end brackets.Part # for hitch: NZ6Z17D826C
I noticed there isn't anything listed for Maverick on that site. Thankfully mine was buildt with the hitch and cam with the 4 pin socket.. which is mounted on the left side of the receiver. I am kinda curious where the aftermarket taps into... if it already has a plug in the wire harness that exists.
I already stated that this is an OEM part, and NOT an after market hitch. The slit for the wiring harness IS on the left side of the hitch.I noticed there isn't anything listed for Maverick on that site.
