I live in a small town north of Austin. I have see several cyber trucks on car carriers and a few cruising around town. I'm just not impressed. It is one goofy looking beast.

I was very lucky. I was rear ended by a lifted truck. It just barely tapped my tailgate. It was a major hassle going through their insurance but when it was said and done, I only needed the tailgate replaced. It could have been so much worse.

Congrats on the new truck. I've had mine since November 2021 and loved every mile I have put on it.

I have the Ford hard rollup ... it is basically an older version of the Bakflip Rev X2. The Ford version has a felt liner that comes off in hot weather.. like the middle of summer in Texas. The new version you get through Bakflip (RealTruck) has a better design along the sides where the tonneau...

My first mod was to fill the cubby hole next to the screen... I made a "Give a damn" switch that turns itself off when you turn it on. Since then I have added a tonneau cover, better speakers, the trays in the center console, window shades and more.

I did the same thing... Just took mine off and tosses them behind the rear seat. I don't think I am a fan of the headrests tilted forward. Interesting solution... I would rather just without.

My tonneau cover came apart ... The felt pealed off this past summer. I ended up going to a dealership to get it replaced.

I'm very lucky... lifted truck tapped my tailgate. No other damage. Could have been much worse. Waiting to hear from the adjuster now.

Yep... I completely expect the felt to come off again at some point. I appreciate Ford replacing mine. I can decide on replacing or a creative solution down the road.

I think most tonneau covers leak a bit. I'm ok with that. I get some water at the corners. Biggest advantage is it keeps prying eyes from picking through whatever I have in the bed of my truck.

The newer version of the tonneau cover, X4s is a better design. I have liked mine so far except for the felt peeling. I had mine for a year and a half before that happened. I appreciate the dealer replacing it. The old version does have the Ford logo showing when it is rolled up. New version...

I'm still happy that Ford replaced mine. They treated me well.

I totally understand... I thought these were being replaced by newer models as well. The felt came completely off of mine. It just left a sticky residue. I do like the Ford emblem though. Guess we will see how long this one lasts.

Ford sent a mobile tech this morning and swapped it out. Same version. I'm happy with it

It's done. Ford came out and replaced my tonneau cover. This is identical to my original one with the FORD logo that shows when it is rolled up.

I had the same problem with the felt liner coming off. I went to my local dealership (not the one I purchased from) and spoke to the service manager. She ordered me another one. Tomorrow they are having a mobile tech come to my work and replace the cover.

Here is the update.... I see spoke to my local dealer again on the 14th. They told me they have ordered a new tonneau cover. I got a call yesterday telling me they will have a mobil mechanic bring it out to my workplace and swap the covers on Friday. I wasn't expecting that since I installed the...
