I could say the same thin about my 1992 Ranger. But the simple fact of life is prices go up, period. As the cost to produce goes up the cost to the buyer goes up. No one can buy a brand new 2022 today so the price difference is moot. Personally I waited and bought a 2024 leftover. And I would NEVER order and wait over a year for any vehicle.Sure. But who got a better value: a Maverick early adopter or someone buying a 2025 for $8-10k more? I don't think I'd replace my Maverick with an identical 2026 for such a price increase
