No, but I've read repeatedly in this forum that the engine is tuned by the factory to limit torque to keep from breaking the transmission, and that's also why it feels like it has turbo lag when you punch it: to preserve the transmission.

I'm gonna guess the '22 models are out of warranty, anyway. :)

Are keypads back as standard equipment, even on XL trim? Anyway, if I were rural and didn't have a keypad, I'd keep a key on me, the same as I've done with every vehicle in every situation since I started driving in the early 1980s.

You missed the point of my post. It's not ironic. The don't "want" you to have a usable spare. They can't replace a flat with a usable spare that doesn't exist.

I assume that if you don't have a usable spare, they'll give you the towing service. Do you expect them to haul around a bunch of spares to fit every type of vehicle?
