    Welcome to retirement. I went from 35 to 40k commuting to 8k a year doing errands and travels. After the first year of retirement I realized I no longer needed a full size and traded for the Maverick. average 25 mpg around the area, more on trips, compared to 13 around town and 19 on trips.
