Base xl awd struts. I agree. I think the spring rate needs increased and maybe that's why people have said the H&Rs ride alittle rougher. I'm not bothering with these springs anymore. When the others get here I will swap them and move on.
The HRs definitely ride stiffer than the Eibach's. We took a trip this morning to the mountains in mine and my wife even said "this thing is stiffer than it was before". It definitely rides like a lowered truck now. I would have loved to keep the Eibach's installed, but I just couldn't. If the HRs start giving me problems after some miles I am going to go with the Good Win Racing springs and all new hardware. The lil bit of rake don't bother me. I am not going back to stock, I just can't. I don't like the look of this truck at stock height. I am honestly hoping Belltech or someone will come out with drop struts soon for this lil truck. I will definitely be a buyer.

Except that there isnt enough suspension travel or the springs are too weak. Ive destroyed 2 sets of front bump stops, now waiting on the eibach units to see if i destroy them or if they help the bottoming out of the strut.
How many miles were u getting out of the oem bump stops before they busted?
I’ve got about 400 miles on my eibach springs and I wanna prepare for that lol

If I had to guess I'd say 500 miles. I'm sure the 2nd set is busted now. I have 550 miles on the drop.

Well well well, got the text from my installer and NO MORE NOISE! Of course no more eibach springs either, but changing out the springs fixed the issue. We didn't need the Scale adjustable end links, but I bought them just in case. Along with new strut bearings but there was no wear on my stock ones. He didn't have time to swap the rear springs tonight but he will do that tomorrow night and I will pick it up then.

Still not sure why and what causes the Eibach's to makes these noises on some trucks and not the others, but I am sending mine back for them to run some tests on them. They did get back in touch with me today and were very helpful. So I am sending them my springs back. They are indeed wanting to get to the bottom of the problem. They even asked me if I knew of anyone in Southern Cali who is having this issue because they want to hear what is going on and try to get to the bottom of it. If you are in Southern Cali DM me and I will forward you the contact info for someone at eibach, he is most polite and willing to help! I do think it has something to do with the coils being compressed in the middle and not at the top like the HRs. But I am not qualified to make that call.
Good to hear that Eibach has finally reached out to you and wants to figure the issue!

Normally I drive everywhere with the radio up and today was one of those days where I didn't. I finally hear the noise that most have been describing. Sounds like walking on an old creaky floor lol.

Hey Everyone, thank you for your patience while we look into this. I didn’t want to respond until we had some more information.

Rest assured we’re looking at this now, but we still need to find someone who is local and currently experiencing the noise concern so we can further inspect. If so, please shoot me a PM.

Well it's not a truck but my springs are on their way back to you guys. UPS picked them up this morning.

Looking forward to a solution. I'm having the same issues, and it makes a really cool new truck sound like junk....

How long do you guys need the truck for inspection? Im in Fresno but can possibly make a trip down to LA. I've put around 1K miles so far on the truck, and while it drives fantastic it still makes the noise on slow turns and from accelerating from stops.

Hello everyone, we have finally been able to determine that there is enough variance between the production chassis components and our springs to cause interference in the scenario that both are at opposites ends of their tolerance allowances. We have designed a completely new front spring to account for this variance and they have already been tested on multiple vehicles with success. They should be available as early as next week. Thank you for your patience in allowing us proper time to diagnose and remedy a solution. Please contact the sales team at eibach.com if you are experiencing any noise issues currently.

I am glad you were able to get to the bottom of it. I am sure it will put a lot of these guys at ease. Eibach has been a staple in the suspension game for many many years, and I myself knew it would get figured out sooner or later.

Awesome. Please document all the changes with photos if possible. I myself held off from buying due to this exact issue. If this can be confirmed fixed on new spring design I'll definitely be ordering a set. 👍

Will there be a way for us to tell if we are getting the updated springs when we buy a ProKit set? An updated part number or other designator?
