I recently started getting this same noise, like a single loud click sound only happens when turning at very low speeds. Sounds like its coming from the front of the car forsure
After installing my updated eibachs, i was noise free at first but over time I started getting kind of a slight creaking/clunking noise only when going over bumps, or when turning slowly. Idk whats causing it
Yes! I get this noise when I make u-turns. I thought it had to do with my lowering springs but hearing you say you have this issue with only 700 miles makes me rethink that 🤔
I have the steeda strut tower bar installed, installed it a few weeks before my lowering springs and rear sway bar and those few weeks it seemed a bit stiffer but nothing really too noticeable.
I live in Fresno where we have temps up to 115, it hasnt been under triple digits for around a month except for maybe a day or two. AC in the mav has been fantastic in this heat, even during long drives down to LA and the Bay area. Sometimes even gets too cold lol, and I absolutely love the max...
Damn so thats what that noise and feeling is when i make a u-turn lol. Been trying to figure that noise out since I got the updated eibachs installed. The truck drives great otherwise.
Gonna be taking mine to Thunderhill along with my Miata for a private track day in October, can't wait! I just wish the maverick had paddle shifters at least.
Also wanna mention that I'm on the new updated eibach springs it is soo much better now, but i still wonder how the goodwins compare to...
Hah yeah i will upgrade them eventually, waiting on a proper set of adjustable rear arms to come out so I can go all out on the rest of the suspension. Just was chiming in that so far 4.5k miles into the stock links, no issues!
I should add that I have put about 2K miles on the updated springs roadtripping and it feels amazing lowered even on long drives. All my past lowered cars were on coilovers, but with the stock struts on the mav it essentially feels very similar to stock, whereas the coilovers always felt stiffer...
If i can give a percentage of how it compares to the stock feel, i would say 80%. The ride is noticeably a bit stiffer but overall does not fee bumpy. My wife said she hasn’t really noticed much of a difference. I do have added sway bar and strut tower bar so the handling on turns is night and...
Been two weeks with my updated Eibach springs and the ride is fantastic now. I haven't heard a single sound or felt any movement coming from the front, I actually enjoy driving my truck again lol. Ride feels amazing too especially with the steeda rear sway bar and front strut bar
