I have a 2022 and mine did not come with the damper.

Haven’t had time to jack the car up and inspect. Weird thing I noticed though. The sound is drastically louder when it’s cold out. When the weather warms up, sometimes the suspension makes literally zero noise. I’ve dealt with suspension sounds before but this one has me confused.

I have the updated springs that are not supposed to make the noise..

So forgot to put an update here…..turns out it was not my CV axles making the noise. They swapped the old ones out for the new ones and the truck still sounds the same. The tech believes it may be an issue with either the struts top or the struts themselves. It’s possible that the crappy...

I got a text that my axles are in, will be dropping off the truck next Wednesday for an update. Dealer mentioned that if there is still noise or vibration, then they will need to do testing on the struts.

Just wanted to chime in and mention this text I got from my service advisor regarding the redesigned axles yesterday.

I have lowering springs, and the mechanic detected it was from within the CV axle, which they mentioned they have seen on unmodified ones as well.

Been waiting on my axles since Jan 3rd...still no ETA.

I wonder how good the fit is

Update: Picked my truck back from the dealer and it seems like the two front axles will be replaced, as well as the top strut mounts, all covered under by my 75k mile extended warranty (that I got for free when Ford drilled holes in my gas tank during production hehe). They ordered the parts...

I'm dealing with this same issue. The noise is different than when I had the updated springs, and WAY louder. Took it into the suspension shop today and the guy said that it's most likely the CV, but he still wasn't 100% certain unless he took it off and disassembled it.

Any chance a solution to this was found?

I recently started getting this same noise, like a single loud click sound only happens when turning at very low speeds. Sounds like its coming from the front of the car forsure

Pretty sure the shocks/springs are the same on AWD vs FX4, just the different drive modes and additional goodies like skid plate, etc...

Yes! I get this noise when I make u-turns. I thought it had to do with my lowering springs but hearing you say you have this issue with only 700 miles makes me rethink that 🤔
