I think quality control should be improved across all the Ford lines before asking significantly more for their vehicles. Ridiculous, what the 23’ models went up with no improved quality. I would say it’s gotten worse as some vehicles have been in production 1-2 which is more than enough time to have worked out known quality control issues.

Unfortunately most if not all of the increase was due to inflation which has just started.....

The inflation that’s proven to be disproportionately impacted by increasing profit margins?

In my 63 years on this earth I’ve always brought middle to low end vehicles because vehicles just don’t last so I believe that they are not worth the contract they are written on, and they have always had some kind of burp, fart, knock, vibration, cat scratch noise in them. So by listening to your insignificant whining it makes me laugh. It’s a mother f****ing truck made to be abused so maybe next time by a $100,000 truck so you won’t get the dreaded noise.

My 2004 Ranger that I paid $2,500 for doesn’t have a dash rattle that’s so irritating that I don’t want to drive it. It also has better speakers. We have been driving our other vehicles because of this. I’m debating on driving it over to carmax if it doesn’t get fixed.

Shoot you should listen to my Model 3 rattle itself down a smooth road.

Be glad you only paid $25k for it!!
If I ever get my Mav it will be tomb-like quiet in comparison to my current 2008 Ranger. It can only be an improvement, I can't see a rattle rattling me.

Seems a lot Ford products were already over priced per the overall quality and Ford also jumped on the ADM bandwagon on their more popular vehicles. When there’s some F-150’s models starting in the $90k-$105k MSRP that’s just insane. Yes, I can understand inflation does play a part in it but in comparison to most manufacturers MSRP pricing seems Ford’s has increased at such higher percentage.

Any manufacturer can design and build and slap an inflated cost to any of their vehicles but it use to be the new model was improved but somehow they would manage to have reasonable starting price point as outgoing model or at least they would try to keep a low starting price point. In this world of inflation Chevy has somehow significantly improved the upcoming Chevy traxx but yet they are coming in at lower price points so it is possible if manufacturers actually try.

Unfortunately most if not all of the increase was due to inflation which has just started.....

2.0 FWD XLT. Took delivery early October. No rattles, no problems, no issues.
Show up later? Maybe ... since we have less than a thousand miles on it so far.
Wonder if what I was told in the 1970's by the Service Department of the Ford Dealer where I worked at the Parts Dept. could be the problem for some of these issues: NEVER buy a vehicle with a Friday or Monday production date!

Did you check to make sure you didn't drop a paperclip back there?
