  1. WTF kind of waterbottle fits in the door?!

The easy answer to this is the 21oz Hydroflask. Fits like a glove!
  2. Maverick Quality - not

I've said it once, and I'll say it again...it's time to start drinking heavily.
  3. Crash & Totaled. Unibody Bent

From Day 1 of getting my Maverick in April 2022, I felt like it was a magnet for other peoples' bad driving. People would cross two lanes of traffic to get into my lane like I was completely invisible. More often than not, people would casually drift over into my lane - almost got sideswiped at...
  4. 2025 Maverick Lariat EcoBoost AWD - First Road Trip Impressions!

When I still had my '22 Maverick EB (not AWD) these are numbers I can personally confirm, and have pulled as much as 39mpg keeping a consistent 55mph on back country roads in Georgia on a road trip. Typically got 26-28mpg city driving. Traded my Maverick in for a '24 4Runner SR5 Premium 4x4 (no...
  5. Florida Wanted: Orange Tray

    I traded my '22 Maverick on August 10th, 2024 for a 2024 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium. No regrets.
  6. Dealer won't give me the truck...Recall issue

This is part of what made me give up my Maverick. The endless recalls got to be a bit much.
  7. Blinker noise too loud

No, you'd be wrong assuming everyone was 80, because if they were they wouldn't be able to HEAR that the blinker was too loud.
  8. Blinker noise too loud

My thoughts exactly. Never realized this was a thing.
  9. Ford app is deleted

After I traded my Maverick in, I kept the Ford app on my phone to see what the gas percentage was. Someone was obviously doing some test driving. Two weeks to the day, my truck apparently sold. That's when I finally deleted my app. Hoping to see my former truck out in the wild one of these days.
  10. How does everyone feel about the auto start stop?

Found it to be an annoying feature. Used the OFF button a lot.
  11. It's Been Fun...

No, just five speed transmission. This truck Sort of like the multitude of Cactus Gray Mavericks. I specifically didn't choose Cactus Gray or Area 51 because they were the two most popular colors on this forum. The Maverick was my second gray vehicle.

The college is money well spent so long as it's a profession that contributes to the greater good of society. Having a BA in Basket Weaving ain't gonna hack it in today's society. Our daughter is finishing up her Masters in Nursing as of December. The Masters degree is on her dime. We've...

Here was my original test run post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/trial-run-cargo-trailer-conversion.36686/

Love this color! I ended up with white, which wouldn't have been my first choice, but as it turns out I absolutely LOVE IT.
  15. It's Been Fun...

I should also add (to quote Ferris Bueller) "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. I do love driving it...it is SO CHOICE!"
  16. It's Been Fun...

Yep! It has the moonroof AND heated seats. Turned the heated seats on last night because the AC about froze me out while I was snoozing on our roadtrip home from the Keys. That's a special treat if you've never had that feature before in a car. I wholeheartedly agree with your statements. I was...
  17. It's Been Fun...

I'm sitting back with my popcorn, waiting to see what happens.
  18. It's Been Fun...

So far I'm getting a respectable 19-20mpg city driving, but I'm not gunning it off the line and I'm actually keeping to the local speed limits., so I can at least no longer worry about getting pulled over for speeding. Pulling the camper, I was consistently getting 15mpg keeping at 60-65mph...
  19. It's Been Fun...

You know it! We'll see how these "upgraded" Tacomas and 4Runners do over the next few years. Should be interesting.
