So, on a Hybrid, unlike when I use Ford Pass to "remote start" my EcoBoost Maverick when leaving a restaurant, it runs only for 1 minute? Are we maybe thinking of "remote start" differently?
Yep. From this thread I learned the Hybrid does have that auto start feature for battery charging while the Ecoboost does not.
But I was referencing the remote start feature only. I assume they are the same for both, which would mean IF it was accidentally by the current owner or as one...
Have a 2022, not hybrid. My remote start from phone lets the truck run 15 minutes, then shuts off, not 30 seconds then shuts off. ASSUMING remote start feature is equal for both hybrid and non, I doubt it was a remote start. As one poster said about hybrids auto starting to charge battery and...
AGAIN! As soon as you hit the return/enter/send key with ANYTHING that can possibly be used to start the process of gaining info on you, it goes on the WWW, the World Wide Web! Why chance it? Driving around, in a parking lot? Only those in that lot or on the road see it.
Kind of like, I...

My mom grew up in Coos Bay. My dad, from Pennsylvania, met her there while serving there as part of the Army Coastal Guard because of Japanese subs coming close, and them floating bombs on balloons to the coast, after being in both Africa and Europe in WW2. After marrying the moved to...
Question. Here in Indiana for every lawn mower and trimmer and other small engines that I have seen the manufacturer recommends using non-ethanol fuel and here in Indiana many, maybe most gas stations provide non-ethanol fuel since when small engines like that sit, the Ethanol residue can gum...
As said, a lot depends on IF you let the nozzle click of and stop there. Because of the speed of flow the faster flows will get the nozzle to click off before the slower flow. IF I fill my tank and want to get it the same amount of full each time, AFTER the nozzle clicks off I manually slow the...
2022 XLT 2.0 FWD. Took delivery 08-2022. Only a bit over 8,000 miles. First road trip coming in May. Have not paid much attention to milage yet. Will in May. We be retired and while I still work some, my 2003 Grand gets the miles. Wife keeps Mav in garage and uses it only if not raining if...
if the 2022 XL would have had mainly cruise - power mirrors maybe, kind of nice - I was seriously thinking on one and do the argent wheels on the white truck like my jeep Comanche ones were to be a "memory" of a pu I really liked; black centers with stainless trim rings.
Oh, I am sure here in Indianapolis I could find one at a u pull it, but at 75 years of age pulling the engine out of my grand to then attach everything, and the reality of probably having to modify/fabricate a trans cross member, well, those days are in the past for me. Can't afford to get it...
I pretty much only use by backup camera in my Mav to see if I am squared away when backing into a parking spot. Otherwise use all three mirrors and looking back.
I know I would, but the cost from reman (1700 ) or new from Novak (2100) plus then flywheel, bellhousing, clutch, etc, and trying to find clutch pedal and all linkage from a (rare) standard tranny v8 Grand Cherokee ... the cost would be double just getting an auto from reman (2,000)
Wonder if it would be a doable reality at least for the FWD 2.0 to swap the Focus tranny in?
I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee 2WD with a 4.0. I have thought of finding the 5 Speed offered behind some plain Cherokees and put it in, except first gear in those is kind of a granny gear. I would want...
Not a tremor, but a 2022 FWD XLT. As soon as we got it made the cheap stock tires go away and got raised white letter all weather tires since truck is white. Snow and ice was minimal in Central Indiana this year and since it is primarily my wife's and she doesn't like it to get dirty, even when...
Yea, having to actually lift a handle to open a tail gate or open a door, totally annoying. Why does it not just do so because I think it should be? You, the poster, time to get a life.
