and the truck in this discussion, is not an "EREV". There will be other vehicles for that, but not this one.Size looks okay, but I think I'd need it to be an EREV to replace my Maverick as a family road tripper.

Range Extender? They have that now. it's called the Maverick Hybrid......
At least it's not ugly lol. I'm curious what are some of the lifestyle options and accessories that have been eluded to?I would say it was "OK" looking. Not really a standout for design that people will drool over. I think it will be more of a functional vehicle. I may be emphasizing the long hood more than it really should be. It's probably just an average length, but I remember thinking that it had really good forward visibility and that was probably more due to the way the hood slopes down and the low dashboard.
Unless your are under 35, you probably won't appreciate any of it.At least it's not ugly lol. I'm curious what are some of the lifestyle options and accessories that have been eluded to?
If you look closely at the icons in the camouflage - you will see many hints that are directed at young buyers.Unless your are under 35, you probably won't appreciate any of it.
Whew, to "me" that Telo Might is ugly asI seriously doubt this will be $30k by the time it's available. I also seriously doubt the Slate will be under $30k, either. But the Telo MIGHT be in it's estimated price range of $40-45k, because they've done their homework. Between this Ford thing at $35k and the Telo at $45k, I'd go with the Telo; and I'm a tightwad.![]()
And for those who feel it's forced, don't buy one! No one is forcing you to buy one, it's simply another choice.Part of my disdain for EVs is the way some of us who prefer internal combustion engines, especially the high-performance variety, feel they are being forced upon us. For those who truly want an EV, by all means go for it.
at least you wouldn't have an engine "lap dancing" in a collision.Whew, to "me" that Telo Might is ugly as. $45K ??? Something about the lower portion of the front end reminds me of some older golf carts. Doesn't seem to be much there to help out safety wise with a front end collision. Guess it would work for some and that's ok, but one will never see my driveway or garage.
Can you give various examples? I'm 31.Unless your are under 35, you probably won't appreciate any of it.
