$77k for the work truck trim with 450 mile range. The range is amazing, but the work truck trim is super basic and doesn't present as a $77k truck at all.

Full size EV pickups just make no sense. In order for them to be used as real pick up trucks, they need giant, heavy, expensive battery packs, which make the trucks too expensive to be practical. At least with the Hummer EV you know you are spending $110k on a poser mobile, not a real truck.

They're calling it the "Work Truck," but the cheaper trims are coming too.

I just wish all the EV trucks weren't full size. Like the Rivian is the smallest, and it's only a bit smaller than an F-150. I don't want or need a full size truck.

This version is pretty basic already. I imagine that the cheaper versions will be the same but with smaller batteries.

Just give me a smaller battery for my small truck. I use my truck for work, in the city, so as small a footprint as possible is great, and often don’t hit 50 miles in a week, so these 450mile packs are wasting materials and my money.
