Not sure if it was mentioned previously in this thread, but RockAuto stocks the 5qt jug of the recommended Mercon ULV. Search using XT125QULV, priced at only $24.79 currently. Even with shipping, this is probably way cheaper than buying individual quarts from a local store or dealer. I'm just...
Am I the only one who was confused searching for XY-75W-QD? The fluid part # is XY-75W-QL, as shown on the bottle photo. If you are searching at RockAuto, it doesn't come up as a part for the Maverick but they do carry it, just use XY75WQL when searching. Maybe the OP can edit?
This is the way...
Except I try to get the oil changed out between 4000-4500 miles and I'm holding off on the PTU and RDU fluids until the weather cools off, which should be around 23000 miles. I might do the trans at the same time since it is over 2 years now. After that, it will be 30k...
Regardless of whether you have experienced a frozen rear view or not, you should have the update installed. It has vastly improved the overall stability of my infotainment unit and the screen is noticeably brighter. I've only had one lockup in months and it no longer has audio pops on a random...
The tow package is practically a no brainer add-on if you are going for an AWD model, but really, that could have been towed by a FWD Hybrid with the 2K tow rating.

Additionally, who pays for deductibles, and lost wages if you are...
The factory Pirelli's on my FX4 are still looking pretty good (6/32" measured) at just over 20K miles. I think the Conties were the worst available and Ford should be ashamed of putting them on a new vehicle.
Seeing how the Auto-Start-Stop is not currently mandated, I do not see how EPA can change anything unless they rollback CAFE standards. Customers want better fuel economy so that is probably not a winning choice.
I do wish the system was calibrated differently. I think it should not 'stop'...
Yes, I get them, but I mute them in Google Maps most of the time unless I'm going somewhere unfamiliar. Check your individual volume settings. I don't have Carplay, but in Android, there are separate volume settings for Ring, Notifications, and Media. Media is what plays the Navigation directions.
Maps and Apps. Navigation without AA/Carplay is not great unless you have a good phone mount and have the phone screen on the whole time.
For Music, without Android Auto, the only one that will play over BT is Pandora. I also use PlexAmp which plays music from my home server when I'm mobile...
