Hi again all! I got my lights installed today and thought I wired everything up according to my understanding from the write-up, but now the fog lights stay on all the time. I drew the diagram attached and this is how I have wired things. The BCM #6 pin is wired to the "S" Switch Input Wire on the DD wiring harness. The "VB" Positive Wire is connected to the batt/post under the hood. The "G" Ground is connected to the factory ground wire under the hood. I did not connect the "DW" deactivation wire or the "BW" Backlight wires to anything, as I didn't want the running backlights when fogs are off. I made and saved all the of the FORscan changes as described as well and the fog light dash indicator does show when the fog light button is pushed on the F-150 hyrbid headlight switch. Do you see anything I may have missed or hooked up wrong?

Additionally, I tried disconnected the "VB" Positive wire while leaving the "G" ground and "S"-->BCM #6 wire connected, and this results in the fog lights not turning on at all under any condition. Any and all help is most appreciate!

This diagram helped me make sense of what wires I could exclude, thanks!

Installed the diode dynamics fog lights plus I used the F150 hybrid light switch since my truck is the hybrid. Installed wire from bcm to signal wire on diode fog lights . I used the complete wiring harness but I didn’t use the switch from diode dynamics. Programmed the bcm and ipc to show the fogs on the dash and when the brights are on the fog lights turn off. The plug I used for the bcm is DU2Z-14474-DA only needed one and the light switch is ML3Z-11654-Dc . I went off #6 on the bcm for left front fog lights .

Great info. So all the wiring connections are the same as the DD instructions except the BCM add on to the trigger wire?

Just completed the Diode Dynamics LED Fogs install on 2023 Maverick (non-Hybrid 2.0T). Followed video and printed instructions. Before bumper re-install performed the test and the the LED fogs did not come on. Tested all touch-points:

12V at passenger bumper connector tap (brown/yellow)
12V at passenger headlight tap (blue/green)
12V at toggle switch
Ground connection confirmed on chassis
Inline fuse good
Fog DT connectors in tight

Head scratching.

DD to send replacement cable harness (with included control relay)

UPDATE:
WORKING NOW WITH REPLACEMENT HARNESS KIT 💡💡

Issues still... the FOGS worked as using the harness and switch install.
In parallel did the BCM mods as posted Pin 6 and the FORSCAN IPC and BCM changes... removed switch connections and ran the BCM to the wire harness trigger. Dash OEM Ford FOG button turns on dash indicator and the FOGS come on VERY DIM.

I removed the BCM 6 connection and wired back in the DIODE DYNAMICS switch as the out of the box install and the FOGs now are still VERY DIM.

They get their power from the +12V and ground so using out of the box install using the toggle switch, the lights should be bright like they were.

Thoughts ??

Dim seems like probably bad ground to me.

The +12V is on the battery post per instructions. Used the horn bracket for GROUND as the chassis bolt shown in instructions was buried below.
Oddly is before doing the BCM (green #6 ) wire and programming mod, the FOGS were installed as per the DD instructions and were BRIGHT.....

Are you sure it's not just the backlight that's coming on? Are your fogs amber or white?

The are the WHITE version. Originally wired up per DD instructions and video with switch wires and passenger headlight tap and passenger side bumper connector tap battery post for + 12v wire and horn bracket on driver side fender for ground (easy access) and they were only bright white.

Did the BCM mod of #6 green wire w/ FORSCAN programming of IPC and BCM modules per steps on pages 1 and 2 on this forum post. Used OEM Ford dash switch that has the center push on push off (used on several Ford models with fogs including NEW Mavericks).

Unplugged switch wires and plugged in BCM #6 green wire to the "white" switch wire from relay harness and the fogs were now dim......

Removed BCM #6 wire and reconnected the DD toggle switch wires (the way when the fogs were bright white) and now they are dim... as if wiring harness relay is not feeding full 12+ volts ?

I did the DT connector voltage testing and found 0 volts on the AMBER pins and only 8 volts on the WHITE MAIN FOG pins (explains the VERY dim output)

Will replace the entire harness w/ solid-state relay controller on Tuesday (July 1st) with a tested and known good DD harness.

I love the look in everything of the diode dynamics fog lamps as well as using the OEM switch the only thing I don't care for is the Amber parking light function on them.

Down the road when I add them I'm not wiring in the parking light function on the fog lamps.
I am waiting on the wiring for the BCM but have everything else including the F-150 hybrid headlight switch. I am not going to connect the parking light function either. Wish I would have found out about this before setting my 2024 Maverick for flat tow since I had the front bumper cover off for that modification.

I'm not sure which Flat tow plate you installed, but the Diode Dynamics and the Demco don't fit together:

Another user found the RoadMaster kit also didn't leave enough room for the Diode Dynamics fog lights.

All issues resolved. Last was poor ground (do not use the horn bracket for ease of access) and the backlight BLADE was bent not making good contact (at all) to the bumper vampire tap.

All is working with BCM programming and OEM Ford fog combo switch

Mine is a Demco.

Thanks to your post I was able to avoid attempting the install and cutting the bumper cover.

I contacted Diode Dynamics and they have no plans to offer a modified kit for flat tow use. They offered to take the kit back for a refund. Waiting on their reply now.

I will not have the same luck with the F-150 headlight switch and the wiring for the BCM.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question but...can someone tell me how FORScan can enable fog lamps when fog lamps are not an option on the Maverick. And same goes for the BCM.
