Got mine installed, thanks everyone for the details! Hopefully a few of my own might help someone in the future
Getting that piece of the console off was pretty tough and I needed to use a trim tool to gently pry/pull from one side to start.
Most of the connectors to the panel could be...
That's interesting, cool find! I wonder if you can have this behavior but not the part where it turns off with the turn signal. Gonna have to think hard if this is worth rewiring everything 😭
If the center console ambient light came pre-installed, where was it originally plugged into?
Does anyone know the part number for the adapter ends themselves?
These diagrams are confusing compared to the photos sent here.. From the photos in the OP, the 14A318C looks like the center console...
Where my HS10 lives: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/taco-truck-prius-truckprius.40644/post-819710 Under the front seats might work too but I didn't want it taking up foot space in the back.
I think it sounds pretty decent, but already had to send it back for warranty repair...
Hello, making a separate thread so I don't hog the other one where I was asking about this.
I now have the original B&O amplifier and was curious about playing with the Flat EQ setting I've heard about.
From what I can tell the EQ is simply just that and the DSP handles the crossover...
If it's B&O amp, I believe the amp acts as the active crossover. I might be mistaken, but I did not add the crossovers that came with my replacement speakers and the various speakers are not all receiving full range.. I still have the stock speakers in a box somewhere I could look at.
It's more that I lack faith in Ford to fix the issue and the assumption that I'd be wasting my time. But look forward to a fix!
What's more annoying than the skip is that sometimes the bottom nav bar on AA becomes unresponsive and I cannot change which app is up. Only fixable by restarting AA.
How about the port in the bottom rear behind the seat. It has paper flaps to relieve pressure when closing the doors. I have a video of the effect here:

I installed the 2022 B&O amp and so far not hearing a noticeable difference.. Maybe I would need to do some science and take audio measurements, but not a big priority tbh.. Just going to leave the older version in since I was chasing it for so long.
The dayton replacement I would probably do...
1 Year / 10K mile update
Still love this truck, still having fun doing stuff to it when time allows.
No issues so far, got all recalls done at the 10k servicing (sync updates, taillight sensor, something else?) My forscan changes did not get reverted as far as I could tell.. so either they...
Oh man, thank you. This added a few hours to this project as I was worried about breaking the connector. I gave up and came looking for some explanation. I didn't need to cut the zip tie though, just moving the handle lock around a bit let me slide the cover back enough to get access.
Also...
I would assume so, it doesn't seem to cover the area fender flares would attach, but not sure. There's pics here:

The @Maxzina mud flaps are decent and decently priced. They actually cover up the huge gap in the rear left wheel well. Stiffer plastic than the mabett ones I replaced on the back, hopefully they hold up.
