I applied the strip to the paint at the roofline after taking care of the chips. I hit the spots with one of those fiberglass strand sanding pens, primed, then painted. just use the body line as a guide.
Shifting is definitely better. Monster doesn't give all of the transmission options that Cobb OTS does; he just uses one, probably "Sport", Cobb OTS has 3 options. I have a 2024, so no shift paddles, but they would surely help, but as far as I know, nobody has unlocked the ECU on '25+ Mavericks.
I was lucky enough to win a Cobb AccessPort at the MTC Roundup this year. I recently started running MonsterTuned's Adapt-X tune. I'm admittedly running the tune mostly for the transmission tuning, simply because my Wife has a hard time putting 93 octane in it; I've convinced her to run at...
I'm pretty sure that this 5/16" was the one that I ended up using. I bought three different sizes to cover all of my bases since it's pretty inexpensive. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKNK28PQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
I can almost guarantee that anyone with this chipping issue above the windshield has some sort of bug deflector/hood guard on their truck. Without one, you're likely getting chips in your windshield. I had a couple of chips in this area that I've since fixed. After my repair, I put a strip of...
The real trick is going to be the brackets. I got one of the last sets of the JJC Tremor bracket sets. I'd reach out to Justin and see if you can get on a list; I heard a rumor that he might do another run if he gets enough interest. I used his brackets and a set of Diode Dynamics' SSC2 fog...
I won one of the Michelin bed mats. Quality is excellent, fitment is spot-on, even with the factory spray-in bedliner. I just laid it out on the driveway in the sun for an hour or so and i flattened right out. Thank you for your sponsorship of this great event @TreadAuto
Thanks, and in case anyone is wondering, that is the Cobb AccessPort that I won at the Roundup this year on the upper left of the Awards photo. I color-matched the faceplate H8 Electric Spice (Tremor Orange) yesterday.
Is yours one of the ones with the HS/MS toggle switch? I originally had one of those and it didn't work great for me, so I got the Forscan-recommended OBDLink EX. Works perfectly every time on every vehicle that I've used it on.
I've been using the Valentine One for years; I'm on my second one. It usually lives in the ST, but I have a Blendmount mirror mount in both the ST and the Maverick, so the V1 goes where I go.
I've had a set of your jacking rails on my ST since they came out, and they are super-helpful. My ST is almost 13 years old and the pinch welds are in pristine condition. They would be a great seller for the Maverick platform.
I'd be willing to bet that anyone with a "bug guard" will have this problem. They're designed to deflect debris over the windshield and it's hitting this vulnerable area just above the windshield. I just fixed a couple of spots on mine--sanded, primed and painted. To help protect from future...
I'm pondering the purchase of a 702A Lobo in the future. I want all of the upgrades that go with the 702A package, but I have no use for the Pro Trailer Assist Package that come with it. I've made it 60 years without having to tow anything, so I can do without it. I would consider ordering the...
