But they could offer a refund of a percentage of the purchase price or at the very least, provide a voucher for one of the high quality restoration/ UV protector products. They have a lot at stake here. I would not have even known about these fog lights had it not been for others on this forum raving about the product and the company's reputation. DD depends on this forum. Not only for sales but also to help expand their brand. Bad reviews travel much more quickly than good reviews and they cannot put a price on their otherwise good will and reputation. They will know the price when they lose it though.

I don't have any idea how much diode Dynamics relies on the Maverick Truck Club. They will soon find out how much they rely on word of mouth through social media as many companies have found out.
I am sure there are many Maverick owners experiencing the same problems on Facebook Instagram etc.

Just as I have noticed with Mabett.
It does not seem like Ryan is with them anymore. Inquiries that I make directly to the company, are taking much longer than they did when they were being answered by Ryan.

I was looking to purchase for my 2025, when and if they come up to do one, but now would have second thoughts. Maybe someone could come up with a 3D printer coding to fix this problem.

That's unfortunate. Anymore it really is Buyer Beware. When I posted my install pic's and review back in July I spoke very highly of the lights and the company. To date that post has now been viewed over 2500 times. And I'm just one of many posts about them. You just can't get that kind of good publicity for free. But easy come, easy go. If they were smart they would address this straight on and be straight up about it. So far, just lip service.

Do you run your Maverick through the car wash? If so, do you select the wax/clear coat option?
From the look of the black plastic, it appears to be wax build up.
I had this on my previous vehicles but when it would polish off, I realized what was going on. I only get a wash cycle, never wax, never clear clear, and I have not had the problem again.

Turned out nice but you paid a lot for these lights and now you are out another $17 for the wipes to bring them back to where they should be. That's just not right.
