2022 hybrid 47k miles. Shakes when accelerating from 0, especially on hills. Dealer replaced both cv axle under warranty. I see lots of people having this problem, this needs to be a recall. I also got the seat belt issue and 12v battery problem. They need to work on their qc. My last Prius never had problem until I sold it at 150k and I even used it to tow trailers

Yep the battery charging s/w programming, deep sleep or whatever one wants to call it along with the cv axles has really plagued many of the hybrids, although its been reported on the eb a few times but rare. Shocking you've gone thru 2 sets of cv axles. Did your dealer use the "updated" version when they were previously replaced? Have no idea why Ford keeps their head in their ass/sand on this. Their half hearted attempts thrown out there so far since MY22 is about like satisfying a lions hunger with a chicken leg bone. Just my 2 cents.

Toyota has most experience with hybrid design.

This does not supprise me at all. Ford will hide under the table. They need to stop building and selling until they can get things right with the Maverick trucks.

My CV joints at 39K. Same thing, shaking on acceleration.

Even Toyota can screw it up. The battery temperature sensor on the first year hybrid Camry was set too high. My battery cooling fan jammed due to no filter in front of it. The battery temperature warning didn't shut the hybrid system down until AFTER battery damage.

I have an awd Tesla that makes 480 lb/ft torque. The tires are larger and heavier than the maverick’s. I use full throttle on it multiple times per day, every day that I drive it. At 140k miles, CV axles work perfectly, making zero noise or vibration.

Maverick CV design is a lemon.

Don't knock the truck just yet.
Toyota had there issues with the first gen Prius too. Remember the steering issue, HB battery, air condition and I think a few more.

Don’t get me wrong, I still like my maverick. It can do a lot more than my old Prius V. I work in construction and this can haul sheets like champ and still get great MPG. Just wish it’s more reliable. Any day in the shop is days I can’t work
