Been There, Done That in an '86 S10. NOT fun. It will turn you from "I wear my seat belt because I'm supposed to" to a TRUE BELIEVER in the worst sense of the words.
Because the Jeep is doing the miles continuous. Regular hybrids mix short distances of gas & electric as required by power demand & battery state of charge.
I had a spare key made & kept it in my wallet. For a while, they had a set that was the size of a credit card but thicker out of plastic. It wouldn't hold up for regular use but was perfect for when you locked the keys inside.
Worst case, use something similar to these (https://www.harborfreight.com/nut-and-bolt-extractor-set-9-piece-70921.html) or (https://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-drive-sae-bolt-extractor-socket-set-9-piece-70709.html). They won't tighten it back but will get it out assuming it's normal right hand...
I had a dealer try to hold my truck until they got paid for repairing damage caused during the airbag recall while it was still under warranty. One call to Ford corporate & they changed their tune like a light switch was thrown.
This can be caused by damage to the B pillar wiring. It happened to me when they did the side airbag recall. Ford Roadside in 2023 didn't know that a Maverick that can't go into neutral requires dolly wheels to get it out of a parking space. Have them send a tow truck used for repossessions.
And that's his average. It's also the price within a mile of me right now. Location is everything. State (gas tax & regulations) & distance from the refinery make a big difference.
